Oh wow, yeah I would imagine. Well for me they only did about a one inch incision and from there they just shaved it down. Since the issue was it was pushing against the nerve that runs down your back into your leg. Hopefully they'll be able to fix you up.

Was it called a discectomy? Mine's an issue of there being not much disc and so the bones grind on each other. Glad you're feeling better though.

Not sure of the technical name. Oh, wow that's NEVER good. I know my father has actually had his disk completely removed, maybe that's what they'll do to you. :/
