it's not a problem at all! this may sound very selfish as I'm sure it takes a lot of time to make the soul gems in general, but if it is at all possible, I'd like to draw three of your OCs in exchange for the soul gems of Kyoko and Sayaka, as well as a custom soul gem for myself if that is alright? If not that's totally fine, just let me know! I know it's a lot and I don't wanna swamp you since you obviously have a lot on your plate already with the trades in general. 

I found you through Kyousaya.tumblr.com, the picture was of your Madoka soul gem and grief seed (that the inside looked like rose quartz almost) and there was a link that sourced your deviantart! It's got if I recall when I reblogged it say... 200 some odd notes? But I don't think most people know you do trades for them ahah, but either way! I think it's really awesome that you do these soul gems for art trades, that's really nice of you and I thank you kindly for your time

Three is fine, so long as you understand the wait you may experience >.< I prioritize trades where people have completed their half before me, but otherwise it's chronological down the list.  Can you link me to your custom design?  I'll add you to the list.  Also, thank you for the link!  I don't have a Tumblr but hopefully my n00b self was able to figure out how to thank the original poster.  I'm a bit (pleasantly) shocked it was reposted so much!

you have a lot of talent making them like, whoa man! When I saw it my jaw dropped- seriously!! And certainly I actually need to make one though haha, so I will be linking you probably tomorrow or at least by Friday! As for the half of my trade, do you have any preferences to how you want your characters drawn or does anything go? Like, full body, bust, headshot, that kind of thing?

Update! I saw your photo again of Madoka's gem, and it's got about 2,500 notes!! seriously your work is just awesome like. wow man. it really shows. anywho, here is my soul gem 31.media.tumblr.com/f7e5f180c4… hopefully it's not that bad to do! Soul color wise I honestly had no clue what would work, so I just kind of went with a green / blue. If anything turqoise probably would work too since it symbollizes calm.

I'm preparing to assemble your custom soul gem, but I wanted to ask you a quick Q--did you want it to be silver, rather than gold?  All the ones in the anime are gold, but I can do silver too.

So...I know you said you wanted gold, but I found a really cool top piece for your custom soul gem.  However, due to the seal on it, I wouldn't be able to cleanly paint it gold.  The piece is here:

If you like it, I would recommend going with silver.  The rest of the gem would still get a silver paint coating to ensure the metal stays uniform and doesn't tarnish, but it's all up to you--just let me know!

I have a grief seed tutorial:

And the soul gems are made of gemstones (some natural, some synthetic), lead free solder, metal beads, and wire.  Some glue is needed for the tricky parts that solder would be too clumsy for.  I actually prefer to do art trades, rather than commissions.  I really only accept commissions if a person is absolutely unwilling to an art trade and still really wants it.  My art trades will close in April though so please let me know before then if you'd like to do one.  Thanks again!

The design you set (without the breaking grief seed at the bottom because that's impossible) is fine. I think it was hollow.
