# About me

Blah blah blah, I'll include more info later. Enjoy my "works" for now. These are not top-notch arts done in Photoshop, but clunky piece of garbage when compared.

As a fellow Unreal fan with several arts related to the game, you certainly deserved it By the way, would you be interested in helping me with some game art? See the journal entry above for details.

No prob man. I like former DR locomotives and carriages, 4-piece double-deckers in particular, but these classic E42s are nice too, even with rhesistor brakes on the roof (which are not part of the original construction).

Thanks for the reply, I took a shot of 142 001 also at Lehtre it was time exposure but the loco moved and ruined the shot!

I've seen far worse photos. No, I was even taking such. But even though, these are not replaceable - some of them have nostalgic value to me. Photographers in the past days (especially during communist era in Central Europe) didn't care as much as they do today. There were no Photoshop and such stuff, there were just raw pictures.

jareks.zonk.pl/pekape/index.ht… - just take look at these. Not an art masterpieces, but from today's point of view these photos are priceless. Locomotives, places, trains, etc. pictured there won't return at all! Who would care about tiny details, when looking at this load of nostalgia right there. I regret that my parents didn't let me use their analog camera back then, and I got my first (and the only, for now) digital camera in 2006.

A wonderful site of nostalgic pictures you have there ( Its a great reference on Polish railways as info in English is hard to come by!).

Like you I've been taking photo's since before the digital era and many thousands of slides that I intend to scan one day, As you say you got what you took and the thought of only having 36 exposures now seems unbelievable!, I'm guilty of not taking as much care nowadays knowing exposures are virtually free, But on the other hand I will take a shot like this one into the sun that I wouldn't even consider with film.
