I mostly just vegged out on the couch after class. It was a nice day of rest for me. But you went to a Renaissance fair? I'm so jealous! I've only been to one in my life but it was so cool!

Become it was my birthday my dad got me an awesome leaf keychain that the blacksmith had made and he got me a cool map and some Ice cream!

That's really cool! The one time I went, I got a handmade shawl-type thing. Oh my gosh, it's my favorite thing to snuggle in. But the key chain sounds gorgeous. I would want something like that for my keys. I like trees as symbols and stuff like that.Β

Our costumes are from years of gathering stuff. I am always a pirate! Mostly because I have a cutlass so I tile it down and ware it with my outfit.
I keep the sword by my bed in case of burglars hehe.

I want to one day either make or buy (hopefully make) a long gown to wear at those sorts of functions. Or just around the house. I also want to make on for yard work, complete with somewhere around twenty pockets at least. Maybe one day though... *sighs wistfully*

I need to learn how to sew. I can sew freehanded, but I'm not very good at it. Like I said, I mostly Β just want to make two dresses: one for work and one as my "Sunday best". And I don't know about cheaper. With the price of patterns and fabric being so dang expensive, I think in the end it'll often work out pretty close. (Except for tall people. We have a special curse and blessing laid upon us.)

I can sew free hand too... but not good, I can sew patches on my backpack but that's as good as it gets.
Once I made a little plushy fish free hand... it looks so bad. O.O

Same. I did some pillows, and some things that are supposedly still in existence, but most of those things have been either destroyed or given away.
OH MY GOSH, YAS! I do want to make a skirt for work with 3...4...5...10 pockets or something like that.Β

I am really thinking of making some pillow case type things for my dog's bed so I can make it festive and just get some cool fabric on it so it is not just camouflage all the time.Β I am not super into camouflage but was cheep soooo ya. I could have reindeer at Christmas and bats for Halloween, and littler turkeys for thanksgiving!
I could try and make a jacket that fits but I think that would be hard!

That would be really cool! Also you could wash it. I know I've had problems in the past with stuff like that. But festive dog beds would definitely be the cutest.Β
Jackets would take some crazy patterns, I think. Mostly all those extra cuts of fabric. If I'm ever any good at sewing, I'll try my hand at it.Β
