Tablets are a GODSEND! I love them!

Ok, to put it simply, a tablet is a rectangular board that has a USB port that you plug into the computer. Usually, there is no screen, but it is pressure sensitive.

When you draw with a special pen on the tablet's surface, it recognizes the movement on the screen!

The hardest part with a tablet is getting used to looking at the screen and drawing on the tablet. It takes some practice, but it becomes second nature after a few days.

The one I have is a Wacom Bamboo Fun; I think it was about $150, but I can check it out later. Just look up the Wacom website and browse their tablets. They have helpful tutorials and videos on tablets.

It's so worth it! It's one of the only ways I draw, but I'm not saying I don't do traditional pictures, too.

Digital drawing is really fun and different from traditional drawings. I highly recommend you look into it!
