Oh, and regarding your question: Coffee, even the really sticky bits you saw on "All the others, gone", scans really well. My scanner lived to tell the tale. Multiple times.

That one was scanned this morning, and since I distrust my parents' computer screen it was only now I could determine for certain that the scanner ate ALL the middle tones. As did it with other paintings with a lot of light areas. Meh. There'll be a few more weeks before that one appears, it needs its light mid-tones

It's on its way through post-processing to save it from my mistakes with the tape O_o As for the elf father thing, it was and is the source of much amusement ever since the lineart was made. It really -does- look that way, and I think only one of the subjects would see the fun in that (though I certainly do!). Lineart's here: [link]

My new apartment it still veeery minimalistic, am in the middle of packing the old one today. Just saw people off who were here to buy (and did, I think!). Will be settled and have the old one cleaned in two weeks.
And Raslången inaguration is next week and I panic.
