man, i wish you had some better tools or something. for me it's kind of a waste to see all of the lovely things in your gallery so lightly shaded and hard to see... not that i'm any real judge, but you've got talent :D (Big Grin)

Pahahaa its hard to say if thats a compliment but ill take it as one, its the damn scanner it never makes things look as good and bold as it does on paper but meh a bad workman blames his tools

it was a compliment, don't worry :) (Smile) and i hate scanners myself, everything always looks better in real life anyway. but i love the finished product of the True Blood picture, you got the spats just right lol.

hahaa thanks = D yeah scanners kind of annoy me because if you want it to look good then you need to make everything drastically darker but i dont want to make it that dark well i shall try and make things a little darker for you then = P

oh, don't mind me, it was just a suggestion. on dA you don't see very many pencil drawings, so maybe i'm just not used to the lightness. everyone has a tablet these days.

it'd be interesting to try, i guess. all the stuff that i do in art class is so darkly shaded that i almost have to use charcoal to get the blackest black in the end. :P (Lick)
