Almost everyone have this problem, don't worry ^^ As far as I know, I think it's better not force yourself to draw everytime, and one day you will wake up with a huge freakin' good idea !
And then you usually have the motivation to finish your drawing in one time, because you have the motivation

I've been drawing for a long time, I know xD but the amount of WIPs I have is just.. staggering and I'd really like to finish at least one or two of em xD 
I also have a WIP from my old drawing program which I will have to turn into a jpeg and load in my new prog, then redraw everything and finish it (it was almost done... but my new prog just offers much better opportunities of making it look 'pretty'.

The way I draw is closely knit to music and mood, so if I am out of the mood that a picture I am working on needs, I put it on hold, because otherwise it will probably won't end up the way I want to or end up being emotionless or just.. a mess x_o (though my art style could actually be called 'a mess' in the first place xD). 

Oh well, we'll see x3 I am surely gonna finish something soon 8D

And, pouring the feelings in the picture you're doing at the moment is truly a good thing, but harder than we would think , maybe the hardest thing when creating a picture...

Finished.. and uploaded one of my WIPs *relieved sigh*
At least that one is off of my shoulders now >_<
It's a bit different to what I usually do, but it just worked best that way xD

And, I think you d'ont have to put most of your drawings as "mature content", even if there's blood or partial nudity... it won't shock anyone

I know it looks simple.. but it was not... it really was not -_- Not to me, at least <__< It was fucking annoying buuuuuuuut at least it's done *whee* <3 Working on another WIP atm, that one then hopefully looks 'less simple'.

Yeah, I am rather save than sorry, I was on some pages where people were a bit more... sensitive to some stuff -.- I will probably still put it in mature, though, if it contains bondage xD

aw that sux D: I'd suggest more coffee or black tea or something, except if you are about as much on that stuff as I am, then it won't work anymore anyway....
Yeah, I know that lack of motivation I hope you will do better in a few days but you should not wait too much on your homework (don't turn into someone I was during my school days xD).

Honestly, I don't even own Photoshop x3 All the uploaded pics where either done on Smooth Draw, which is an easy freeware program but limited in it's tools, Open Canvas, which I used on a friends PC when my old one went bye bye and SAI, which is what I am using atm and which I consider quite perfect for what I am doing :3
Also: Photoshop + me = *click* errrrm.... *opens new blank file* .... *click*..... .... Fuck that shit xD *X*

photo montages, it's easier and funnier x)
I meant, do you only work on tablet ? Or do you use also pencil ?

ohh ok, I used to work only with pencil, occasionally pencil crayons and ink on paper, before I went digital. My coloring skills are horrible, though, and digitally it offers me much more options on what to do. It also saves my room from being flooded with loose paper xD

Also, I usually started a lot, and as soon as I didn't like it (like... after 5 minutes) I just.. kinda... dropped it and started something else *cough*

Which is why digital art is actually, I guess, more 'convenient' since you have tools to just swith, bend, shape and resize your art without having to try over and over again on a new piece of paper

Yeah, that's true, but the problem is this you have to know all about the software (tools, effects and options) to be completely able to do what you imagined. (I think ^^)
Everytime I look to a digital drawing made by a pro, I'm like "OMFG HOW DID HE DO DAT" x)
Well finally I think it's juste a habit, to be accustomed with the tablet

it is, it really is a habit, and it is not so much that you need to 'know' everything, although, of course, it's helpful, but it's something that comes to you with time. You know the drill, practice practice practice! My first digital drawings back a few years ago looked... quite different, too xD Now I am not a pro, but I usually get the effects I want to achieve down :3
