Wing turned his head towards the voice, his helm fins twitching a bit in curiosity. 
"Drift?" He said as he turned around and stared at the mech in front of him. 
The sun shone behind him, making Wing look almost god like as the rays of the sun shone on his armor. 
"Drift!" He yelled once his processor had finished processing the situation and he realize just who stood in front of him. He ran
towards the other mech while laughing. "Do you realize how hard it was to look for you?!"

Drift's fins lowered slightly as he felt a wave of emotions rush over him. He clenched his servos as he kept his field tightly wrapped around himself to hide the overwhelming emotions he had.
When Wing was finally close enough, however, his facade was quickly waning until just completely shattering when he heard the question.

"If I knew you were alive, I probably would have made it easier to find me!" he snapped, his field revealing the confusing mix of frustration and joy he felt from seeing Wing once again.

"True, true." He nodded. "But I didn't exactly know where you were so I couldn't send you a message. My ships communication system is kind of in shambles at the moment."
He chuckled. Wings optics flashed brightly as he looked at Drift straight in the optic, his lips spreading in a joyful smile. 
Carefully, Wing raised his servo and rested it against Drifts bicep as he looked him over. 

"Hey wait a minute, you've changed!" He took a step back, still smiling as he let out a cheerful chirp. Always nice to change the subject to less serious, Wing thought. "Less bulky and more smooth. Ooh it fits you rather well actually!"

His head tilted to the side, looking awfully curious. 

"Do you still transform into a race car?" He asked while resting his servo on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "Sure look like one, but I've lived underground for like billions of years so I'm not exactly following fashion."

Drift sighs from the explanation, accepting it as a viable excuse since he could relate. He would have to admit his communication system was not the best either. 
He lowered his helm as he calmed himself down, only to look up at Wing when he felt the servo on his bicep.

He became a bit embarrassed when he was commented on his new frame. "I... oh, that's right... I practically was scrapped during a battle against Galvatron and Jhiaxus awhile ago. I guess it has been quite awhile since then..." he explained and smiled nervously. "But.. thanks."

"I do, though it is a bit different than the previous one you probably remember," he teased. 
"Since you are done from hiding, maybe we can update you to a newer vehicle mode."

Wing looked down at himself, the fins on his helm fluttering slightly side-to-side. "What's wrong with the way I look?" 
He asked. Well, okay sure his jet mode is old as balls, he's had it since before he joined the Circle of Light so he's gotten a bit attached to it.
He twisted his upper body to look at his behind- or at least attempting too. Curse his giant shoulders. "I think I look pretty handsome like this."

He straightened himself and let out a laugh before resting his servos on his hips, breathing in deeply so his chest puffs out. 
"Like a handsome, ancient god who's here to kick ass!" He said loudly, his armor flaring out to make him look bigger.

A loud hum came from his sword.
"Oh yeah and bring peace. That's why I'm here in the first place." He laughed.

Drift laughed from his master's response to the question. 
"Nothing wrong with it, just merely making an offer," he replied as he saw him flare out his plating.

As annoying as he thought he was before, he now could see that he was quite wrong. He had missed his master quite dearly in his absence.

"Well, there are a lot of locations that need peace now that the war is over. There are also a lot of rogue Decepticons spread across the stars."

Drift turned his gaze to the horizon with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his helm a little.
"We're on Earth. To be exact, I think we are in one of the sovereign countries named 'America'," he told him. 
"...Western America given the rock formations and color of the ground. Which works out rather well since your alt mode looks nothing like any of their vehicles. Kind of hard to stay in disguise when you don't blend in at all," he smirked.

He blinks and looks a bit confused. "why would I want to blend in? I mean...I can walk around on my feet just fine."
"Unless.." He pauses and look around. "Oh primus this is an organic planet isn't it? It's pretty. Never been on one!" It takes him like 0.3 seconds to go from confused mech to a 
smiling, excited mech. 
"Oh wait I DO need to blend in then don't I?"

"The Circle of Light had you pretty isolated, huh?" He asked.
"That's beside the point, though. Yes. Earth is an organic planet and it is one that Cybertronians left a bad impression on.." He explained.
"Sadly despite even some of our best efforts, innocent humans ended up being injured or killed due to how fragile they are..." His fins lowered a bit in sadness.
So it is best to stay in alt mode when around them to avoid striking fear or provoking their military measures."

"Yes, they do, but it will take quite awhile yet for them to do any massive damage to us unless they receive help in developing the technology. Until then, we are fine as long as we are not on their territory. They still have yet to develop vehicles for long term space travel," he explained.

He was a bit concerned by the way he was rubbing his chest, wondering if there were some lingering fears as a result of the last battle.

"I think it would be best for us to rest on their moon, or the planet closest to Earth. In case of hostiles."

"I agree with you there. I have witnessed what the humans can do with only a small fraction of access to our technology... and it is terrifying," he explained. 

"We shall be fine, here, sir. As long as we travel with the night sky and stay away from heavily populated areas, the humans will have a hard time identifying what we are."
