Np, these pad models are great, and they're rendered very realistically. You certainly deserve more views!

the pads are modeled for jinx custom controllers (They have their own DA page) with TONS of custom skins.

oh well XD
how did you do the 'collision' on moments after impact?

Patryk567 In reply to TheBrightBeast [2011-02-17 21:36:46 +0000 UTC]
I used paths and standard brush with oscillation/vibration (or something, i've got Polish GIMP version so i don't know the exact translation) for this radial explosion effect. Few layers on brighten (or something). Generally a lot of trial and error.

Patryk567 In reply to TheBrightBeast [2011-02-17 20:08:06 +0000 UTC]
Planets? Since first installing GIMP (about 4 years) but they got so much better after i first came across The Ultimate Gimp Planet Tutorial (14 Aug 2010)
Maybe someday i'll do a comparision of all my planets on a timeline, this will be interesting

You're welcome, thanks for the too.
I'm kinda surprised that so many people found this old "Simple Planet in GIMP" worth commenting and faving but thanks anyway.
