I made my own Undertale AU called Camalottale.
Frisk is "King Arthur" with a magical sword called Mercy.
Chara's sword would change names to something similar to Genocide.
Sans would be Merlin.... definetly. So Sans would end up in robes meaning less bone for me to worry about....
Pap and Undyne would definetely be knights of the roundtable.
Alphys would be an alchemist since those are scientists back then.
Monster Kid.... I would probably make Undyne's page.
Tori would be the lady of the lake... who gave and protects Arthur's sword.... so she would give Frisk Mercy
Mercy would be a sword that can't kill but frees a monster from something.... each monster other then Tori and Sans would be corrupted by Flowey/Mordred and using Mercy on them frees all of the Monsters from Flowey's control.
Sans and Tori would be the only free monsters... cause it would make sence that Sans is helping you then if you are on a Pacifist run.... and why he would kill you on a Genocide one
Sans would have to wear something on him to make it seem like he's under Flowey's power.... maybe each monster has a flower growing out of them or wrapped in vines until freed... like this: sugarkills.deviantart.com/art/β¦

I saw your concepts for Frisk and Chara in your gallery. I must admit, King Arthur seems like a cool take on Undertale. I can't wait to see more concepts for the other characters; I am quite curious of how Napstablook and Mettaton would fit into this equation.

"Long ago, there was a kingdom ruled by Humans and Fae and it was a time of peace. Then, Humans began to become jealous of the Fae's ability to use magic and in turn, the Fae became scared of the Human's ability to use iron. Fae feared iron for it could sear their very beings. Thus a war between the Humans and the Fae broke out. The humans with their iron weapons eventually won and the seven human mages sacrificed their lives to seal the Fae underground in the mythical land of Camalot. Legend states... that one day... the decedent of one of these mages will fall.... fall into Camalot and emerge a king."

Thanks, the monsters are now known as Fae instead since that fits in with the Arthurian legends. None of the personalities are going to change... but Flowey controls them through the vines. When the vines are removed they gain an item with the Pendragon symbol on it. Pap = Shield because the vine was on his shield arm, Undyne = Eye patch because the vine was under it, Muffet = Neck because the vine is around her neck.
