Absolutely. I played to game myself, on my first try I got Kazuaki Nanaki he's sweet but has a mysterious past much like Shuu. But Shuu just has the right combination of dark past and fascination with science that make the mad doctor much like Dr. Stein from Soul Eater. Oops sorry for rambling, I must be bothering you.

I watched a playthrough and they went for Nageki first but I always liked Shuu. Like you said he's mysterious and you just can#t help but want to know more about him not only that but his looks help to because you just want to see his sexy face even though it mig-will result in your death. And personally I thought Kazuaki's past is so sad when I got to know more about it.

Oh so true. The game itself is good to play in you need a pick me up. It's funny I watched Anghel's route I didn't know what to except then your in an RPG boss battle. It left me thinking was it all real or his imagination?
It really is good. I've missed it so much.
I have a friend in real life that says that male love interest in visual novels I play, they say the appearance of the guys look generic. There is truth to it but it's partly on their appearance and their personality is what makes them likeable to the person that plays.

Anghel's route was amazing!!! I mean at first I didn't know what the heck was going on or what the hell he was talking about but I was sort of happy with kicking Shuu's arss.
And I wonder that too. I mean I can just see someone walking past the infirmary door or window and just seeing you and Anghel attack the poor fat doctor with pens
I play it whenever I feel down it always has me laughing...
But I totally agree with you!!! It is their personalities that really bring out them all. You sort of like them all no matter how cruel or annoying they are...I mean I don't think I dislike anyone to be honest but I do have my favs but...I don't hate anyone really.

I hate to say I was rolling on my bed laughing at the boss fight in Anghel's route. That's when I was thinking was it all real. But yeah I the heroine and Anghel fighting the boss with pens, pencils, or rulers.
Everyone has there favorites and their not so favorites. I haven't encountered one in Hatoful Boyfriend yet. I can't wait to see what's in the PS4 and PS Vita port of the game.

Well...I got my lest fav I mean...I do find Torhi to be a bit annoying to be honest and Miru and Kaku I mean they are cute and needed by Shuu but...pfff....I just don't like any kid character to be honest

The was interesting and the mechanic of an RPG boss boss was something I didn't expect those it does make sights why you vitality is higher then you wisdom or charism.
The kind of characters I like are a mixed bag. Like if a character is part of trope I like depending on his or her personality is the defining attribute that makes want to like that character.

It does make a lot of sense when you think about it, vitality is strength and I think you need a lot of strength to fight a boss
