I absolutely LOVE making these; honestly, that is pretty much the only reason that I get trading cards anymore (stopped collecting for quite a few years too, so a lot of my cards are older, which is GREAT for when I trade^^)

Personally, I wear the the two non-holo styles of N cards that are out, one being from the Noble Victories set that I normally make into a heart pendant (I also have that one uploaded ) as well as the oval pendant of N from the Dark Explorers set - I AM SUCH A FANGIRL!! (I get a ton of looks from younger kids and my fellow fans - you can totally tell who plays Pokemon!! Such fun~ )

I absolutely love making these♥ I am in no way a pro, as I have only been doing this about four months in this style after taking about three months to really get it down and figure it out (and I still mess it up once in a while, lol) but I just love making them and sharing with my fellow fans so much that it is all worth it in the end♥

Ahaha, yes. I humored the notion of buying a whole bunch of Dark Explorers cards in the hopes that I'd stumble upon the N one. I suppose I haven't the need now. I haven't had Pokemon cards since I was a wee lass, but back in the day I collected them like it was nobodies business. I remember it like it was only yesterday. I had a small Charmander binder (which was blue despite Charmander being a fire type T__T) and it was literally busting at the seams because it had SO MANY cards. The binder ended up disappearing off the face of the earth the last time I moved. ;___; It made me sad. I had some cool cards in that binder man. Memories were in there, man. Hold me.

You wear your Pokemon pendants in public? YOU GOT GUTS. FANGIRL HIGHFIVE!!! Do you get in conversations with random people on the streets after they see your Pokemon pendants? Do you get any weird looks too? Like, 'what is that thing she's wearing!?!?' I'd like to think that I'd wear Pokemon merch in public places as well, but I'm not sure I'd be so willing to reveal my power level.

Only four months (plus three months training)!? Judging from the photos, it seems you're rather talented at it. I've never been into arts and crafts much myself. Do you make the chains too? And, how does the whole pendant-making process go about? Where do you get the actual pendant materials from?
Yes. The greatest reward is always the satisfaction of the customer or viewer. It's wonderful being able to spread a joyful feeling to others, even people you don't know. That's one of the reasons I write stories... to spread that feel. It's a good feel.

Ah, the good old days~
I will admit, I got a really good deal on some old out of print Inuyasha trading cards (like, 7 cents for a pack of 10 cards) and I was opening those packs for DAYS... It made the thought of buying cards for like 25 cents per card seem really wierd

Ah memories... my own binder is filled with them too; if you asked, I could pick out half the cards and tell you exactly where and when I got them - especially the ones that were given to me by my older brother when he stopped collecting early on^^

TOTALLY!! And a bracelet that I made, a backpack that I redid... I am a proud, capable fangirl!! It isn't all that wierd, especially when you start to realize just how many other people around you are fans too♪

LOL! Well, you flatter me with your compliments I don't really make the chains unless I find a really good deal on the bulk stuff uncut; otherwise, I am perfectly happy avoiding the hassle of just cutting string and chains XD It is hard enough sometimes just keeping track of the pendants, much less anything else

I will tell you that I pretty much will try anything that I think I can do, and mostly I buy whatever catches my eye on Ebay and other sites^^ It took me FOREVER to figure out terms, and after a few weeks I found a place where I could buy my materials in bulk for super cheap, which makes it just that much easier to make about 20-30 pendants a week, even if they don't sell^^

I agree~ One of the best parts about it for me aside from just the thought of someone happy with something that they buy from me, the very fact that someone likes something that I made makes me feel so happy! Not to mention that by now, people in other countries are cherishing and loving something that I took the time and effort to make... it just gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling
