your Ezio costume is amazing! my 6yo son loves AC2 and really wants a Ezio costume for this Halloween. ive been looking for patterns and tutorials but not finding much and with only a couple months to put it all together along with several other projects. we were looking thru the pictures and he said yours is the best. I was just wondering if you have any tips or anything for making it. also what kind of materials did you use?

First of all, thank you for the compliments! I'm happy that your son and you appreciate my costume
As I wrote, all the "sewing work" was made by my mum, who created patterns by herself, starting from game's screenshots (luckily she's a tailoress!). It's been a very hard work and it took three months for finish it (and some details were still missing).
About materials: coat is in red velvet (inside) and gray cotton (outside), blouse is in white cotton. For the leather parts, such as belt and bracers, we used fake leather. Seen that yours will be an Halloween costume, maybe it's not advisable using expensive cloths, like velvet (which is even difficult to be sewn).

thank you super much! every little bit helps. I think I figured out the pattern. I have been messing around with some muslin a few more tweaks and I may have it -crosses fingers- looking at your pictures has helped a lot in that area compared to some screen shots. and luckily I have quite a stock pile of fabrics from other costumes and projects so im gonna go thru all that first before I go buying anything. im pretty sure he is going to beg me to wear it everyday. this is going to be fun.
