He knows that I'm open with people and talking, but that I get a bit uneasy when it comes to the more forward attention when people don't ease up when I say I'm not interested in it. Otherwise, I'm all for people being comfortable with themselves. If you and your gf are like that that's totally fine! I just personally don't feel comfortable when people direct the flirting toward me, especially with physical affections. (Or, implied, since this is online.) Too many bad experiences/traumas that get stirred up. >_<;
