After thinking very hard and trying to find out what you were talking about for a good fifteen-twenty minutes, I remembered that I had favorited an art piece of yours, and you're certainly welcome. Gg.

Hello! I have just done a tour of your gallery and I enjoyed your clone trooper pixelart. However, I'd like to bring your attention to a specific matter, as I noticed a small detail many pixelartists around here do unintentionally. I originally created the basic clone trooper armour (along with many other non-Star Wars uniformology depictions) and posted it here uncropped and without watermarks, so that other talented pixelartists such as yourself could use them for ther own creations. It's perfectly fine taking that work and using it, without even asking prior, however the only thing original creators like me ask in return is for due credit. It's both a formal matter (many deviations like mine are protected by a Creative Commons attribution and non-commercial licence, meaning you can use the work but must credit the original author) and more importantly a matter of courtesy and recognition toward the artist that employed time creating their work, selflessly allowing others to use it for free.
It's no big deal, simply a "credit to elMengu" or "original clone trooper created by elMengu" or something along the lines of that, in the deviation's description. I understand you most likely used Marcus' clone troopers, which are in turn a modification of my original work, and he may have slipped and forgot to credit me a couple times so you couldn't know they originally came from me. When I started drawing pixelart I used someone else's work without crediting him until I was asked to do so, it's pretty common and you're not the only one I've had to ask so it's fine. It's mostly a matter of courtesy and recognition, so for the clones you already uploaded, for example, due credits would be to me and Marcus as they were made using assets from both of us. If you want to edit them to include credits in the description that would be great, but please do for everything you post from now on that contains assets from other artists. I'm honoured that you're using my clone trooper bases for your own creations and keep it up!

Of-course! I would be happy to give credit to the original author so that you may be credited, as these templates are genuinely made and are deserving of credit. I would however like to state that my failure you to credit you was purely unintentional. So with this, have no worries, as all of my troopers will be credited to the respective authors (especially you) quite soon. Thank you for your support of my page as well, as that means a lot coming from the original creator of the templates I use!
