Hey, how do you install the tones into oC? And when I download them, all I get is random coding stuff.

Yeah, I figured that out.
But it won't let me download them from your DA. It just shows up as a bunch of '#' signs and random symbols and words.

You should be using Opera or Firefox but anyway, the files should not be automatically opening even in IE. You should do "save as..." and not let the files open automatically.

It doesn't even do that...it just opens it up in my word processor without even asking me anything.

I strongly suggest you download firefox or opera, install those to download the files. Once you get one file downloaded on your desktop, you can right click it and disassociate it from openoffice (and uninstall those browsers if you want but they are better than IE)
I have IE 6 on my comp still and it doesn't give me that problem with open office.

I don't think Firefox and Opera are better, they're actually pretty bad for your computer. I stick with IE because it's safe. I'll just go find some tones elsewhere or make some myself.

I work in IT and you'd be laughed at for supporting a browser that doesn't follow web standards.

With a $2000 laptop that isn't mine, I take precautions, and every computer that my family has dled firefox onto...has ruined it and no longer works until it is removed. Maybe it doesn't like us or something.

Firefox from firefox...it wasn't fake that's for sure. I prefer IE at times. FF is nice, and I hate Opera or w/e it's called. I'm stickin' with IE.

Ah. Anyways you can buy the tones from deleter.jp or comictones.com and then scan them in. I find it odd you would install oC stuff on a computer that isn't yours.
