You're welcome Yeah, I hope to become as good as you are at photography. I am usually best with clouds, people, and animals. I have a few photographs in my gallery if you would like to see them, I'd appreciate it And once again, I envy your skills. Most of the pictures I take are right in front of my house

It's that last part that does the trick. It is true that the best photographers can usually take awesome pictures even of their front yard, but it can sometimes require lots of setup, special equipment, and a mind to the abstract. What really helps is traveling; I've found that experimenting with different subjects - landscapes, people, contexts, etc. - has really helped with my development as a photography enthusiast. I don't know if I'll ever be good enough to actually earn a living at this, but it's still a lot of fun! I'll make sure to check out your photos; I hope you have a lot of fun with it too!

Really? Most of the cloud photos I have seen have been taken in the mountains or on airplanes. I hear ya about the setup and the equipment, but that can get expensive, but if you really love photography, I guess it is well worth it. The traveling, however, is something that I don't really have time to do because of school and homework, but I hope that will change one day. And yes, I think that experimenting does help because I view experimenting with a camera is like pracitcing with drawings. I personally think you would do great! I think photography is a good hobby and depending upon what you are photographing, it kind of takes your mind away from things you don't want to think about. And thanks for looking at my gallery. Any advice from other photographer certainly helps

I would love to travel outside of the United States... got lucky once, but that was it.
And yes, it's a very expensive hobby. Cameras and lenses and such make great graduation presents, though!
