Heyo! Long time no talk to! Have you tried Ubuntu 10.10 yet? I know I've already said several times that I'm going to try playing with it but never have. Now since I've finally settled on a Computer Networking AS here at Pierce, I've finally started actually figiting with the OS. I'm currently going through your old message of suggested linux programs. Hopefully I can share my progress with you soon. If possible, I'd like to try some of your themes as well. hey if you dont want to use iconpackager to change you live folders you can always change them through the registry.

Open the registry and navigate to Computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Shell Icons (if shell icons isnt there just right click and select new the key and name it shell icons).

Create 4 new strings in the right hand window called 4, livefolder_back, livefolder_front and livefolder_data. On each one right click and choose modify. then type the path of the icon you want to use into value data.

"4" will be the normal looking folder, "livefolder_back" will be the back icon, "livefolder_front" is the front and "livefolder_data" is the folder icon with the subfolder inside.

I hope this is helpful and sorry if its a bit long and confusing
