Heh, don't worry about it. Statistically you submit deviations about once per nine days. I trust a naive understanding of statistics.

I can't agree with you more about providing critiques. Its very hard to be sensitive to the creator while trying point out things that seem wrong. In various art circles I always hated when "critique" time meant that we all stood around and complimented each others' works. I do think a good critique does involve commenting on what works with the piece just as much as pointing out what is wrong. When I get around to critiquing a piece (uninvited) I tend to talk about what I think is working and how I'm interpereting it. My artwork has miles to go as well, so I think good critiquing will get me there faster.
