I just had to write in to say: those that know me, know that I am a very fun person to be around, and when stimulated can have an awesome intellectual conversation or just shoot the breeze. Those that actually take the time to get to know me: usually feel just the same. I am always open to new and exciting things and people. Im an open book. I have a question, Can you give any advice on becoming a graphic designer?

if you love draw... always draw. sharpen your drawing skills. that's my best advise.
but remember this an artist can design but a designer rarely can create art. also develop tough skin,
ive seen a lot of students get discouraged because of this.
always map out your core courses and get those out of the way first.
always take an academic class your brain will than you. you'll get burned out only doing design.
always use your friends and family as your resources.Β and what i mean is if you know some one that needs
anything graphic i.e.: business cards, flyers, posters, t shirts...etc.
and always stay up to date on all trending art stuff always look at fashion magazines look and study the layout,
always copy these layouts by mimicking the pictures, colors fonts.
always practice your kerning and leading. always play around with fonts.
make sure you can print everything always layout any project out on paper firstΒ
and last always leave the computer until the end to finalize your layouts.
and always learn and read about past designers like Saul Bass, Paul Rand.
