Hey Mylithia, I saw you started working on the teaser backgrounds :) (Smile) How far is your progress until now? I'd like to get this thing out asap but except for the John and the flames there's not much animation work to do. Can I help you with anything?

Ah sorry, I've only just gotten out of school a few days ago and I've been spending these recent days saying good to friends that are moving on to college, so I haven't spent a lot of time at home and/or drawing. I've moved on from paint tool Sai to Photoshop CS5, so a few details or effects and such might have changed due to using a different program, but by now I have the hang of it and feel ready to start producing art using photoshop cs5. Right now I've made progress on the meteor scenes and should be finishing those up, and the John's bedroom scene I already have covered. I haven't really been focusing on the Episode 1 backgrounds yet, mainly just the teaser so we can get that out asap. The real problem for me I feel is there is no one place for all of the background artists to truly stay in touch and keep up with each other. Me and EMMABI mainly use skype, and I've been on DeviantArt less and less now a days. I'm mainly on facebook and skype now. I really want to talk to the other background artists to see where they are at and what they're doing because I know EMMABI is doing a few backgrounds for the trailer too, but now there's another background artist who I've yet to properly talk to and work with working on similar scenes and everything seems to be unnecessarily be repeated/overlapping. If you could right now tell me where I can find a list of the background artists so hopefully i can try to organise some place either on DeviantArt or some other type of social media platform to talk and to inform yet-to-be background artists that hop aboard, that would be great. Once we all get a chance to catch up on each other and see our total progress so far, I think we can all work at a smoother and more efficient pace. thank you for offering help Elbytron ^^

Welcome among the photoshop users, haha! I use CS6 myself and it's great, I never really got into SAI but I see why it's so popular among many people.

Same here, Episode 1 is still not on my list yet. Currently I'm re-doing the John animation I made for the teaser a while ago (the one where he's typing), to have him more on model. There were lots of things I liked about the old version but also a lot I wasn't happy with and it was more my style than the official characterdesigns. I have to work on that to stay faithful to the characterdesigns!

Hmm, I haven't been very active in the past months either. Kekki surely has a list with everyone in the background art team!
