Aw thanks that's an awesome tut! Wish I'd found that earlier! Lol. Might be doing a 'dark angel' project soon though, so I'm sure I can put it to good use!

Hmm , watch some how to videos and tell yourself heck I can do better than that . Then practice ... Make sure your knives are sharp and make sure your cuts meet under the wood . If you have to pry up the chip then it's not completely cut , it should pop out . I found the books by Wayne Barton Β very helpful too .

Sound advice my friend, many thanks! Got one book by Pam Gresham already...mostly cause it was second hand and cheap! But will definitely look up Mr Barton's publishings...think I've seen him on YouTube vids. Who knows, maybe soon I'll be posting pics up here of my own work! In time I'd like to try selling some stuff too...but I'm guessing the professional wood-chipper's life is not an extravagent one!

I sold most of what you see in my gallery , buy I made much more in my day job . I think a lot of making a living as an artist has to do with being able to market yourself and your artwork . I'm just not that good at it . And of course everyone would say oh anyone can work work wood or I can get a machine to do that ...Β
