# About me

I began as a self-taught artist since the age of seven, usually drawing what I saw and reading tons of books and websites; and then I graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art from Hendrix College. I am a gamer, a cartoonist, a fantasizer, a geek, and an explorer. My dream job would be either a concept designer artist for animation or videogame companies or self-employed freelance cartoonist, illustrator, photographer, etc. Dream job would be at Pixar or Valve. The story behind the Muffia: first of all, get the nasty definition of the word 'muff' out of your head!! My nickname derives from the original definition of the word 'muff': an open-ended cylinder of fur or cloth used for keeping hands warm, one hand going in at each end. My friends gave it to me because I would constantly cross my hands into my sleeves....then, later I heard the slang term for it and decided to add an "ia" at the end to sound more like a name.

Yep, I colour my work using Copic and Prisma Color markers. The only digital work that I do is photography. Everything else is the old traditional fashion way.
