Thanks, I normally am the last person to praise myself, but I can see the improvement as well. Not everything looks great but there has been definite improvement.

No problem, I have not had a chance to go through many of your photos but I really like what I have seen so far.

It has been some time. I am working on being more active on here and in life general though. I posted a ton of photos last night and am try to plan a shoot with my gf, that we can do once she is done exams. Not sure what to do yet, I want to indulge my darker side with a darker theme but somehow mix it with her somewhat cute pin-up style. Eight days until her exam over, I hope that will be enough time.

Have you considered editing your photos to give it a dark element? I look forward to seeing the picture of you!
As for the pin-up blend to your pictures, try making the entire picture grey and certain important colours pop out. Shades of red look lovely on dark pictures and so do blues, greens and purples.

I am not very skilled at photo editing, generally I do very little before posting an image. I might have to try a little harder and learn a bit about it. I should have brought my camera today and taken some photos. I have a few ideas for photos in the lab. I will try to do that tomorrow then.
I have a week to plan, so I will probably go out an take some test shots, play with the colours and see how I feel about them.

Well, practice makes perfect. It takes time to photo edit the way you'd like it to be. That sounds like a good idea to play around with it. What program do you use?

Mainly Sony's Image Data Converter and GIMP because I support open source software and have used it in the past a fair bit.

Ah. Gimp is a good program but it depends on what version you have. The new one is much better. But, Photoshop Cs5 is the best to use for photo editing. My cousin, is a photographer and editor. She's super good with that stuff. You should talk to her sometime. She's nice.

If I had more money I would get photoshop but I am currently poor. And in the end I do like to support open source software, I would like to contribute to the GIMP project. However, I know how nice Photoshop can be, I used to work with a medical illustrator and she used many of their products to do some amazing work.

There are legal ways of getting Photoshop for free. You can even do the thirty day trial. I (of course) got mine from a torrent but I never really use it. Mostly Gimp 2.8 and Sai.

I think I will stick with GIMP for now. I do not want to get a trial, and I will support that project. I would like to get more proficient with the application anyway, so I will concentrate on using it now. I am going to try to go over some tutorials tonight.

I must be weird, I only fave photos I really, really like for some reason or another, and I comment much more often than I fave.

Oh, I see. Well, I try to watch and comment, though today the time between is taking a while longer than normal. I have been busy with other things. I will get around to it eventually.
