days seem to get longer and longer with less and less sleep .
rubbing his eyes and looking about the chaotic mix of scattered papers, both crumpled and uncrumpled , and barely thought out safely stored flasks of various chemical and baking compounds he cant help but wonder if he'd even going to make success with this.
glancing over his shoulder at the large mass covered by several white blankets poorly tossed over a large structure that only he'd prefer to know about - although he'd had the misfortune of unveiling it to people who'd stumbled into his cabin .
eyes meet the set of notes in front of him .
"what am i doing wrong ? "
hand sliding across the table in an almost rage before clenching into a fist which promptly slams into the wood of the desk . aware of what he'll eventually need to do to succeed but still refusing to allow things to get to that point .
theres a glimmer for a moment - a reflection off a secondary surface he'd not bothered to pay attention to due to the fact it was barely visible under a set of various sheets on the right side of the cabin - next to a half finished spoiling plate of hotcakes.
his eyes catch on it then back at his notes. then up at the wind, the tiredness starting to set course in his mind . still , he attempts to hold strong.
progress must be made. he cannot rest until thats the case .

i. placed a hand over her chest, eyes briefly widening as she felt her heart skip a beat upon running into the other.
ii. velvet had entered the asylum to inquire where this place was located and if there was any building near that would let her acquire a map.
iii. but the last thing she expected was to run into a very tall skeleton.
iv. the faunus still appeared to be on edge based on her tense posture and lowered ears, though her hand had fallen to rest by her side.
v. cleared her dry throat & forced herself to speak up."u-um, sorry. i was wondering what this town is called- or if there's a place where i can get a map?"

( ! ) OKAY SORRY IF I GET SOMETHING WRONG I AM,, not familiar with fran bow at all!! i also tried to read up a bit on it but i wasnt sure what to do setting wise so i just,, put it in some vague forest so hopefully it wORKS also sorry its kinda sHORT || the blonde had decided to wander some, just outside of her comfortable little forest named tividen; yet, like always, she found herself having strayed too far outward and somewhere unknown. the place was... dull with life, to say the least, daunting in a sense. )
|| cen grit her teeth nervously- while she was okay with darkness should it be outdoors, it wasn't like she still felt nervous in this neck of the woods. she kept her hand on the hilt of her blade, ready to strike should there be some wild animal or some creep to come out of the thicket. )
|| then there was some soft crck. twigs snapping, most likely. instinctively, she turned to face the source of the noise, her weapon of choice now slightly peaked out of its scabbard. )
