UPDATE for January 2020:
I created this guide in 2011, so you'll have to take it with a grain of salt since dA has updated a bazillion things since then LOL. It now looks like many codes don't work in Literature submissions anymore, (or disable the "Eclipse" version of the site and show the old site instead), so some of the demonstrations here only look like regular text. But they should display properly if you copy/paste them in the comments. I'm so glad to see how many of you wonderful people still utilize this resource, so I wish you the best and encourage you to go ahead and experiment to see what works and what do

Heyheyhey!! I haven't spoken to you in ageessss!! Not too much is going on right now. I'm in and out of fandoms like crazy, mostly cycling between MLP and Danny Phantom, but eh. Weirdly enough, I'm also getting back into Sonic, which I've been trying to do for like two years. And I got a job! Well. Three jobs, but only one of them has regular shifts and a real payckeck. xD
I have been spending it /all/ on wigs. I've bought so many new wigs in the last few months. And I think I have three new ones in the mail right now. I don't even have any idea how many I have anymore.

Been doin' a similar fandom hop like you. Just bouncing around all these different things, but mlp has been pretty constant. What's been getting you back into Sonic, out of curiosity? I haven't been able to keep up with him for a while now...

Ahahaa yessss. I've actually got so may wigs right now I'm practically being overwhelmed.
Especially considering how many long ones I have now - they are torture to brush out and detangle hauuggghh. So now I just have a bag on my bedroom floor filled with wigs that still need to be brushed out and restyled. There are like at least 9 of them in this bag because I just don't even wanna look at them for a while. Eheheheh.
I've started saving a bit and I've decided to spend my next $140 all in one place on like five pairs of colour contacts. xD
Tbh... it's hard to say. I've still yet to actually follow through and end up all the way in the fandom, but I've been skirting around the edges an awful lot lately. I think it started out when I just got this sudden urge to reread Rising Star, which brought back all my memories of rereading it 600 times with my grade 9 best friend who I miss sooo muuuuch. Then I started thinking about one of my other, older, original online friends who was also in the Sonic fandom and how I had a really awesome secret surprise project in the works for her that I never finished, so I started working on it again. And I guess when you're drawing /that many Sonic characters nonstop everyday for weeks/, you can't help but have it start to grow on you again. It's just like my entire early high school life and memories all beating me violently over the head and shouting "remember how much fun we had?!?!"
Gyah, school stuff. I found my semesters have actually been lax enough that I'm not freaking out or getting overly stressed, but at the same time, it doesn't leave too much time for art. But I've been able to squeeze it in whenever I've got a few hours and so far I'm been surviving. ehehe. xD
Yes! I do! Aaahh... I don't actually remember my Skype account username. I use it all the time, I just don't remember... I believe it's dashuramartin, though. c:

HIIIIII. WE DON'T TALK ENOUGH.
NOT TOO MUCH IS UP RIGHT NOW.
Let's seeeee. I am into Attack on Titan now and gonna be part of a huge cosplay group for it.
(Do you know AoT? If you don't then you so have to watch it. I mean I know it's super popular and mainstream but it's AMAZING.)
And that Danny cosplay thing I wanted to do is ACTUALLY coming along (incredibly SLOWLYYYY).
I have my regular Danny cosplay, my Phantom Planet cosplay, my Danny Phantom cosplay, my gym clothes cosplay, the Fun Danny and super-hero Danny. Oh, and I've got Micro Management Danny. And I am sooo close to being done the reverse-HAZMAT Danny. Eeeee. So yeah just the easy ones. It'll be a while before I have to worry about the harder ones.
I also have a Sam cosplay, but I still need someone to actually wear it. But I did find two people to be my Dani and Jazz! We just don't have outfits for them yet. But one we have all of this together... hahaaaa it's just gonna be a totally awesomely fun thing to do.
AND TODAY I JUST FOUND A PARK LIKE RIGHT BY MY HOUSE THAT I'VE DRIVEN PAST A HUNDRED TIMES BEFORE AND NEVER EVEN NOTICED THAT IT'S CALLED "SAM MANSON PARK."
There was just this giant sign post at the entrance to the park that said "Sam Manson Park" and I swear it was like the greatest thing that happened to me all day. XD

hmm so yeah apart from that I NEVER get to actually work on my cosplays...I mean there are SOOOOOO many things I want to buy and possess and like that....and you have to know in Austria we are allowed to drink any alcohol at the age of 18 so I'm like partying almost every weekend and It's suuuuper expensive and stuff...man I just need like 1.000.000.000.000 Euros or so... THAT'D BE GREAT THANKS YEAH!!!!

Oh! I've been watching One Piece. Everyone makes fun of me becauswe I'm still really not that far in yet! I've just barely breached the first 100 episodes.
Awwwww. That's so saaad. Well most of my clothes I get for free from the walk-in closet at school. I just bring in all the clothes that I don't like anymore or that don't fit and donate them, and then take clothes that I think would be good for cosplay. So I guess I'm just replacing all of my realy clothes with cosplay, slowly. xD That and thrift shops. It's easy with Danny, because he doesn't have too many crazy outfits.
Awww. Yeah alcohol is really expensive I am so glad I can't drink it. I don't ever plan on it either so at least that's ONE thing I don't have to worry about spending my money on... not that it'll really help, considering how much other garbage I'm constantly buying... xDD
