Wow, that's a lot! Sounds fun!
I volunteered at the parks and rec camps here as a CIT. After next year, I'll get paid for doing it instead of having to volunteer. :] It went from early june to late august.
I hung out with different friends literally daily, there wasn't even a day I was cooped up inside my house doing nothing.
I also went to the orientation ot my new school - Cooperative arts and humanities of new haven - for orientation, and school begins september second.
I can't wait!

First thing I have to say is COOL! I had no idea that you weren't going to BHS. You get to go back later than I have. Meaning that I started school last Thursday. Everyone was nervous for the first day. I couldn't even go to sleep because I was thinking too much! I hate when that happens. I shouldn't think at night... I got lost a few times. (I need to find shortcuts to my classes because I only have 4 minutes to get to them and it's a big school, so I have to speed walk from one end of the building to another.)

But the creepy thing was on both Thursday and Friday, the seniors were watching us eat lunch on the senior balcony-one person was even taking pictures! We were being watched...

You're lucky though, still have some summer left.

It's just hard waking up and getting ready for 7 am when I've been staying up late all summer and sleeping in until 10, 11, or 12.

Anyway, I am taking ceramics and I have to start making a ceramic tile soon. We can choose what to put on it. I'm thinking of some sort of flower with a pattern for the border (something like that).

But all in all, I think it'll be a great school year because there's so many choices for sports- probably tennis and maybe ice hockey- and afterschool clubs- the school newspaper & the canoe and kayak club.

This one was hard, so I used different techniques to get the pencil to do what I wanted it to. Cotton really blends graphite well to get soft areas. I usually place my shadows first and scratch the fur on top, but this little doggie had allot of lines too. He took allot of time.
