Thank you for adding Lightning Over River to your favourites, I am glad you enjoy it. Yes, Billings has changed quite a bit over the years, the town I remember from my youth is hardly the city it is today. Whether or not this is a good thing is debatable (I find it to be rather neutral, as the cons are pretty well canceled out by the cons), but it continues to grow and change and it is fascinating to watch, it almost saddens me that I will likely move away in a year.

I bet it's fascinating to watch Billings grow. We lived up in the heights. I remember watching the air shows from our house. That was really fun to watch. Still have photos of the air show. We moved when I was 13 years old.

I remember the air shows, those were fun, haven't had one in what seems like ages. You left the Magic City when you were 13? Wow, I can assure you, you would have a very hard time recognizing it. Montana Ave. has been revamped, the heights and west end has grown exponentially, and a lot of the quaint little shops have, sadly, been muscled out by big corporations. At the same time, ethnic diversity has increased, subculture has grown, and culture in general is slowly starting to take a footing (though an obnoxious portion of it is STILL western art).

Do you have photos of the Heights? We lived on Yellowstone river Rd. We lived 5 blocks from the nursing home. I remember I use to ride my bike to Beartooth school. This sounds strange, sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if we stayed in Billings.

Hmmm... probably a couple of hours for each one. I have a lot of fraggle references stuff to work from too.
