'What if we were all actually squid?
-- Analisa, 2015

I am now inactive on here. Thank you to everyone who has given me support and feedback. Please read my latest journal entry if you'd like to keep in touch with me.

Hi, there! I'm Analisa, a novice writer who specialises in writing Axis Powers: Hetalia fan-fiction. Please, make yourself at home here on my page: grab a mug of tea (or coffee, or hot chocolate...whatever you desire), a packet of biscuits, a pair of headphones, and jump on a couch, because you're probably in for a ride whilst surfing around my account. Also, bring tissues--lots of them. You're going to need them. Trust me.

Like I have previously stated, I write fan-fictions for Axis Powers: Hetalia. If you are unaware of what this is, it is a Japanese animation (the appropriate term for this being an 'anime') created by Hidekaz Himaruya. Hidekaz had the idea of personifying countries, and low and behold, it was a massive success! Whilst looking through my gallery, please do NOT be alarmed whenever you see any literature of mine with '[Country] X Reader' into its title, for this is just the appropriate way to title my works. And most of the time, I tend to use the human names for the characters featured in Hetalia, so there's almost no connection from the personified country to their human representation.

By the way, I am indeed a human; I'm not a robot who writes angst-drama-romance fan-fictions! So please, drop a comment or @ mention me if you'd like to talk to me! Send me a Note, or say hi on one of my other social medias listed down below. I'd absolutely LOVE to be able to talk to you guys since I really want communication to become a really profound thing here.

Also, a really big shout-out to nerdics / pokkinia . She's the one who drew my lovely ID as well as my profile icon, so please check her out if you have the time! She's an amazing person who not only draws, but also writes (and I edit for her (; ). She even writes the same kind of stuff as I do! If you're interested in checking out her writing, click here ; if you're interested in checking out her drawings, click here !

And now, for the fun part: stamps!

Hi! First of all, I was kind of surprised to see that you'd posted another Romano reader insert yet again! I know we've already had this conversation, but I'd just like to thank you so, so much for being the first person to offer me excellent feedback and change the way I write. The stories you critiqued are no longer able to be found on the Internet, since I deleted the DeviantART account they were featured on, but they were so absolutely shit. With your help and advice, I was able to use proper paragraphing and format my writing in ways that were so easy to read. So thank you, Yoh. You're amazing--and so's your writing!

Honestly, I like everything you write--your Romano reader inserts in particular, though, are just...wow. I really like your writing style, I'll say that much! It's so nice and easy to read, yet you somehow manage to interweave complex words in there every now and then and it makes me really happy. In fact, you were one of the first writers here on DeviantART that I found myself highly admiring and taking inspiration from because of this writing style of yours. Recently -- more like yesterday -- I was reading some of my 'favourite' reader insert writers' works that I had somehow thought of to become the 'best reader insert fan-fictions out there'. However, I realised that they weren't as good as I'd cracked them up to be. You were within the group of people's stories I'd re-read, and I swear, you were the only writer whose work was as good as I'd originally thought of to be.

Your characterisation of Lovino was really good! I like how he wasn't too nice, yet wasn't too...mean, for a lack of better word. I also like how you made the reader a writer. That was really cool, since I aspire to be a writer when I'm older. It was also very nice to see the reader's author side taking over her as she drank in Lovino's personality and used it in her novel. I do that all the time when I meet interesting people and visit interesting places, so that really good me good! It was really great that the reader didnt take much offence to his rude way of speaking to her; in fact, it was a really commendable feat that she didn't lash out at him.

I swear, I could gush on all day about how much I loved this piece, but then I myself wouldn't have time to write anything. So, to put it simply, I really loved this piece and I hope you continue to produce works at a standard this high! (:

Oh, wow. Where do I even begin to reply to this one? I'd like to also thank you for the watch, I kind of forgot to thank you for that, sorry.

Well, to start off, I'm sorry for not remembering you. I tend to give a lot of critique where I feel it is due and it's not easy keeping track of everything and everyone. Heck, I even have trouble keeping track of the conversations I have with my friends at times. I'm glad I was able to help you, and that you took my critique with such grace and was able to learn from it. Not everyone are like that, and most beginners take it as personal attack to their writer, since a lot of starting out writers like to think that their work is the best, but I'm digressing. And to clarify, you're not one of these people, who act like it's a personal attack. You took my critique with grace, since you learnt from it.

About deleting your older work and stuff, my personal opinion of that is you should keep them available. If only to see how you've gotten better from where you started off. That's one of the only reasons I'm still keeping my garbage Papa Romano series up - the other reason being out respect for my readers.

It makes me happy to hear that you like my current style of writing. It's taken me many years and practice to get me where I am today, so it's nice to hear that my hard work has paid off. Although I'm honoured that you respect me so much, I can't help but think that I'm not all that grande as you make me out to me, but thank you anyways. >/////< Also, out of curiosity, which story did you re-read during your "old favourites splurge"?

Not to brag, but I've got a pretty good grasp on Lovino's character, and if I want a safe card when it comes to writing fanfics then he's my go-to safe card, hehe. That writer aspect of the reader was not exactly a planned one and just came to me as I wrote. I wanted a chipper and spunky character, but I wasn't used to writing characters like that, so I went with the eccentric writer route. It all seemed to work out in the end, though. The reason she wasn't offended by Lovino's or anyone's attitude was because she, as a writer, took a step back from her emotions and viewed everything and everyone through a magnifying glass of sorts. Being more objective than subjective and then turned her findings into subjective and emotive writing.

Haha, I'll do my best to meet your expectations, and hopefully you'll enjoy my future fanfics just as much as you did this one. I've really taken a liking to the style I'm using now so I think I'll stick to it.

Woahhhh, that's awesome! I'm only in Year Nine (Australia) so at the moment, we don't do the whole majors and honour roll things, but I know for a fact that I'm at the top of my class in both my Classic Literature and English classes. And yeah, it really is heaps of fun. (:

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to 3wyl [2016-02-10 06:56:46 +0000 UTC]

Ahh, okay! We actually use both; we use 'grade' from Prep to Grade Three, and 'year' for everything else. I just get confused when talking about the 'freshman' stuff and all that, since Australia's so different to America.

Thank you! And it's awesome to talk to someone who majored in the subject, so yeah! (:

3wyl In reply to MizukiNakamura24 [2016-02-14 15:38:58 +0000 UTC]

That is interesting!

Yes, that is very true! Would you say Australia was sort of similar to the UK at all?

It definitely takes someone that likes to read, but books open doors to many subjects...just not many actual professions.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to 3wyl [2016-02-21 05:20:24 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it is, actually! There's heaps of similarities between the two countries, but some things (such as the UK's currency and how it drastically differs to Australia's) do confuse me. Oh, well. (:

Yep! Though it really sucks, seeing as there's so many people out there passionate about reading in general, yet the amount of professions that primarily involve things like that is a sad, little amount. ):

3wyl In reply to MizukiNakamura24 [2016-02-28 16:12:55 +0000 UTC]

That's very true!

There are many similarities and many differences, but both the UK and Australia are quite expensive, regardless! Just because they're somewhat 'alone' as a country.

Yes, indeed. Many of the great people could make a difference if they wanted to, but they're simply not interested.

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to 3wyl [2016-03-01 06:46:04 +0000 UTC]

Yup, they are! But I guess many of us who live in these places earn enough to get us by--though that's not saying that everyone earns enough which saddnes me so much.

Yeah. It sucks. I wish there were more professions that accepted creative people who are literature-based. That would be a dream come true.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

3wyl In reply to MizukiNakamura24 [2016-03-06 17:37:24 +0000 UTC]

That is very true.

Not everyone earns enough, but the majority make ends meet...which is why we haven't really had a full-scale revolution or anything like that. >.>

Indeed! They are out there somewhere, but most professions lean towards the opposite side of the creative folk.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to 3wyl [2016-03-07 07:14:13 +0000 UTC]

Yup. Like I said, it sucks. 97% of people deserve to live a happy, fun life without any financial burden clouds hanging over there wherever they go. Whilst I'm not expecting a revolution (geez, that'd be quite a turn-around), I just want everyone to be happy and financially stable--though that is a lot to ask for. Everyone's trying their best in their enormous world to get by; everyone's just trying to survive. :/

Agreed. Recently, I've been wondering about my future and what I do when I hit Year Ten (the year when schooling gets REALLY serious), and even beyond that. I've been wondering about what classes to take and which ones will benefit me in the long run, and I've been thinking about what kind of career path I want to waddle down with my little, chubby legs. I know I want to do something creative, but I know that there's not too many jobs that offer putting one's creativity to use. Honestly, I just want to write stories for the rest of my life, but that's just wishful thinking. ://

Ahhhh I'm sorry about the long reply and rant! ;__;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

3wyl In reply to MizukiNakamura24 [2016-03-12 18:45:08 +0000 UTC]

Yes, you are so right! I would like a revolution to shake things up a bit, but maybe Americans will get that with the next president. >.>

It is a lot to ask for, and not easily achieved, but the best things in life aren't.

A creative job is a difficult job to get. Many places value things like maths and science, job wise.

I don't think that's wishful thinking. If you have real talent for writing stories, you could eventually become published and write stories for the rest of your life.

I know. And most of the time, we don't even mean for this to happen. Like...we watch one episode either of a show, read a bit of a book, or watch someone play just a bit of a game...then BAM, we're hooked. It's terrible. So is the genocide route. I watched Cry and Russ do a genocide run, and I felt my heart break. Literally, I felt every piece of my heart shatter.
Ew numbers. Just because I'm slightly good at interpreting them, that doesn't mean I like them. Eughh

Hetalia took a time to definitely capture me-- however, Undertale...... I was already in Undertale hell before even playing it xD
I couldn't bring myself to watch a genocide run yet. I'll have to collect all my bravery to do so orz Only thinking about killing everyone already makes me feel uneasy....... and, crap, we kill so easily in most rpgs, as if it was normal. Undertale somehow changed completely my vision of it.
A love and hate relationship. You understand them, but they are still asses.

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to Miss-Ashbery [2015-12-10 07:23:18 +0000 UTC]

Ooh, okay. For me, Hetalia instantly piqued my attention and I got dragged straight into the depths of Hell. Undertale's pretty much the same thanks Jacksepticeye for playing that whilst I was writing a fan-fiction orz, and it's become one of my major fandoms now.

Yeah, good luck. The genocide route is freaking heartbreaking, and it was just...no. And the thing about killing in RPGs, that's very true. I mean, take a look at Corpse Party for example; it kills off characters left and right as if it were the norm. I kind of like RPGs that are story-driven and not horror-esque, such as To the Moon. Oh well.

Pretty much. But thankfully, the school year's coming to an end, so I don't have to touch numbers for a month or so. Yesssss /)>3👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The genocide route is very... strong, somehow? It really breaks our hearts! And this is quite interesting, when a game is able to hit us so deeply--
Ahh, I absolutely love story-driven rpgs! I like almost all of them, from those dark like Paranoiac to the lovely and unique ones like The Gray Garden!
Mine ended this week! Ahh, the relief. Two months without classes ;; v ;; )b  And finally...... next year, I'll have what Americans would call High School.

Uhhhh... So.. You see I hope you don't mind that I saw you from other people's fanfiction, when you give them a constructive critique.

I wrote aph fanfictions too, because it's the fun way for me to improve on writing. (Even though I don't like-like the characters or so XD)

So I was wondering, when you have the time, could you read at least one of my literatures.

You seem like a nice person, and you're pretty too Sorry that I'm shy!

MizukiNakamura24 In reply to nerdics [2015-11-11 20:25:10 +0000 UTC]

Well. First off, hello there! Thank you for asking me of this; I really do appreciate it. When I critique the works of others, I don't do it to gain any popularity or to try and get myself noticed, but it really doesn't do any harm when someone comes to me because of it. So thank you for taking the time to take the critiques I've written on others people's works.

I'm glad to hear that you're using fan-fiction to help improve your writing skills. Whilst it's not the only medium of me building up mine, writing fan-fiction does help me improve my writing a great deal. So, with this in mind, it makes me smile when I hear that someone writes for the same purpose as I do; it's refreshing, really. It seems that (I'm going to slightly generalise here) heaps of people here -- and on other media platforms -- are so concerned about how many Watchers they have or how many Favourites their works get. So when I hear about someone writing because they a) want to; and/or b) want to increase their writing skills, it makes me really happy. Ahh, I rambled on too much! Whoops! XP

In regards to reading your stories, I have already read one and am about to write up a critique for it. You've got a lovely writing style -- just watch out for the punctuation and all that. There'll be more information in the critique.

Thank you for the compliments! I bet that you're really awesome and attractive too! And it doesn't matter if you're shy -- you've brought up the confidence to come here, didn't you? XP

Hey there!

Well, this is why I like you. I really appreciate it when someone reply back in a rather long comment, because I feel like they really mean it. Ah well it's a weird statement but somehow true. Thank you, really, for wanting to help me! I tried looking for like... Um, a beta-reader but my friends are too busy.

And don't worry, I like to ramble too! I'm a picky reader, so usually when I really really like the story I'll give a long comment about it. Because somehow I feel guilty when it's actually good, no one seem to appreciate it. the reason why the comment is long is because I like to ramble.

Ahhh yeah, punctuation. I still have a hard time doing that. Heck, I used to have a hard time learning comma's. Even now. English isn't my first language too but I can't even write in my own language. Too stiff.

And thank you for favouriting the s. Italy ffn! I actually found you in other people's s. Italy ffn haha. That is one of my old fanfic, my latest one is switzy and n.italy.

Thank you again for wanting to do this!! I really appreciate it! Sorry I typed too much.

Hello again! XP

First of all, thanks for liking me. It really does mean heaps. Secondly, I too love it when I've commented on someone's piece with an especially long paragraph and they reply with one just as long, if not longer than mine. I get what you mean, I really do. When they do that, it's as if they haven't given me some half-arsed reply or whatever--no. It shows me that they actually took the time to 1) read my comment; and 2) reply with a wholehearted response. Your statement wasn't weird at all because I empathise with what you mean. (This is already getting a little rambly...whoops! : P)

There's no need to thank me for wanting to help you. I love it when I have the opportunity to help someone in improving their writing skills; in fact, it makes me smile, because it reminds me that not all of the world is so conceited and concerned about likes and dislikes and favourites and all that. If you're looking for a beta reader, then I'd be happy to read your stuff and maybe edit some of them. I'll give you a Watch -- oh, and thank you for that, by the way! -- and maybe (if you're fine with this) you can show me the first drafts of things and I can point out/edit some stuff. I'd be completely fine with doing that.

Punctuation: an easy thing to get for some, yet an extremely hard concept to grasp for others. I'm in Year Eight (Australia schooling years), and although it annoys me when my classmates -- and sometimes teachers -- use the wrong form/have a lack of correct punctuation, I can't really blame them. Some have only been in the country for a few years, so English is their second -- or even third -- language. In fact, I applaud them, because English is a pretty hard language to learn. So, kudos to you! You said English is your second language, and you're pretty darn good at writing in it (I love your wording in your stories), so well done.

Ahh, yes, the Romano fan-fic...I think I remember reading it some time ago, but I didn't add it to my Favourites only because my Internet crapped out on me and I completely forgot to. (Thanks, memory.) It's not that hard to tell I love Lovino, so heaps of people have replied to me saying, 'You've commented on x amount of Romano X Readers!' It's great. I think I've read your Switzy X Reader too, but I can't remember if it's in my Favourites or not...

Anyways! Regarding the critique itself...ahh...well...I wrote the critique on my school laptop, but I'm on a different laptop right now, so I'll have to comment it maybe in a few hours or so, if not tomorrow. I just hate using my school laptop because it's a piece of crap, and I hate dealing with it. Ew.

Right! So! Like I said, there's no need to thank me, as I really do want to do this. And don't worry -- I just wrote a few hundred words in this one reply. XP
