I was wondering if I could ask you something:
I have to make a book report about "Alice in Wonderland" and we're asked to read one passage of the story aloud.
I was thinking of the part where the Cheshire cat explains that everyone's mad or the part where the Duchess wants to find a moral in everything.
Which one would you personally choose? It can also be another passage, I wanted to be sure to make the right decision

Wow, that's really awesome! Are you reading the book in class?
I would personally chose the Cheshire Cat scene, or maybe the Mad Tea Party [although that doesn't really have a moral behind it... it's just mad!]. I also like the passage in the second book [Through the Looking Glass] when Alice is running with the White Queen and the queen says "nothing is impossible."

The book report is a first work for my final examinations. Our teacher told us that we should start with our first book by now so we have made yet a little part. Alice wasn't even on the list but he was so kind and agreed that I would read it
Everyone has chosen a diffrent book but it would have been great to read it in class.

Have you been to Oxford once? At the Christ Chruch there's a lovely shop with many Alice stuff and there's even a whole Alice shop somewhere near the Church, but I didn't see it.

Is it true that the Disney movie of "Alice in Wonderland" is a mix of both books? Because there are charcters like the walross and the carpenter who don't appear in the first one.

And yes, absolutely! There's Tweedledum and Tweedledee, as well as characters such as the Walrus and the Carpenter that are in the second book
