You don't post many deviations, but I'm hoping you'll have time to do a lot of awesome stuff during winter break or whatever~
Also hi-five for Aussies!

Hell to the yeah! It's very refreshing to meet a fellow aussie artist XD Nice to meet you Chris. I hope I can consistently post things during that period. I only post the best of the best of my works. I don't have the professionalism
If you don't mind me asking, which state are you from? I'm from Victoria.

Haha only posting the best of the best is exactly what professionals do on dA, mate! On the contrary I just find it interesting to see how I progress throughout the years, which is why I upload anything coloured. It means that whenever I meet artists at uni, socials or wherever, it can be quite embarrassing when they ask for your dA, but I think it really is invaluable when you look back after a few years. Just a different take on uploads
I'm from NSW in Sydney, gotta love the city slicker life over here. I've been all across the eastern cost several times on road trips, so I have visited all the major cities in your state :> Are you in Melbourne? I know a couple of people down there already via online communities o3o
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what's your name? I am 99.99% sure you'd go insane if I kept calling you Minty (zOmG dat sounds kawaii gonna call u dat) Ahem. Yes.

Damn, I haven't been there in 10 years. I'm not in Melbourne City but my uni is near there. It sounds like you meet alot of artists. I've only met 1 or 2 artists at my uni, sadly I haven't met any local artists online yet (I would love to though). I live in the eastern suburbs off Melbourne.
You can just call me Mintree I don't mind Minty though XD

Oooh I was close (Y) :> Yeah I meet a lot of artists because I hang around a lot of societies in society and I even got together with some art enthusiasts and started an art society end of last year. We've had 400 new members since ^^ You should give that a try at your uni!!

Oh my word 400!? That's awesome. Well my acquaintance tried to start a group, didn't go to well though. Might try again some how... Do you have any tips on that?

It helps if your university has an open or orientation day/week where you can market your group. Otherwise, just tell people by word of mouth, spread it on Facebook, we created a Facebook group for it and it just went viral from there (but we ensure only official members joined on the university society group are allowed in the Facebook group). Hold lots of socials and drawing related events and invite anyone you know who's interested in art :> Again, the university student group will be invaluable help if you have one there
