I'm using a K10D, mostly with lenses made by Sigma, and sometimes I use an old Helios lens, just for fun and for the silver film feelings it creates sometimes.

I don't have much experience in lenses, but I recommend you the nice 17-70mm of Pentax corp for the auto-focus (quiet, smooth, fast); or the 17-70mm of Sigma ("Macro-mode"; better F/ length (F2,8 to 4,5 - compared to a F/4 for Pentax))
