Plus, it's pretty damn obvious he loves her... there are so many small and large things that just SCREAM 'Love'...

Yeah! She is awkwardly cute! Maybe it's because she's so nice and sweet! Well...she has her temper but overall, she's sweet. And it is obvious that Lelou loves her. If only he would've told her straight out!

Yeah... :\ I think he regrets it also. Besides, I don't think he wanted to get too attached to her. If he had been connected to her, she could have been a point of weakness, and put her in direct danger (although it didn't really stop it in the end.)

1) Whenever he needs to ask something, he always calls Shirley.

2) Her kiss was the only one in the show that he responded to, in fact, he returns it.

3) When he refers to what he's lost in his life, shortly after Rolo saves him/dies, his wording is "Nunally, Rolo, SHIRLEY, and the Black Knights." Don't tell me that can't mean something...

4) He promises to avenge her death, and orders a total masacre of the Geass Order. Although controlling it instead of destroying it would benefit him more, he does it out of revenge for Shirley.

5) He tells Rolo and Villete that he doesn't want to involve her... reason why? Go figure

6) When he erases her memory, he practically reveals that he loved her (it was a maybe), and admits that she meant a lot to him. He also admits deep regret

7) He takes the pictures from Shirley's room... and keeps them. Mainly pictures of her/him together...

10) When he saves her from Anya during Cupid Day, He blushes when talking to her. When she says "you're lying", his response is flustered and he blurts it out. He's still blushing. He expects a kiss from her, and (surprise) blushes when she says "You dirty boy, you thought I was going to give you a smooch".
