I made some cookies earlier, but they turned out hard as rock, so I wouldn't recommend eating them, maybe for throwing at people who are mean. Haha! Only joking... Anyway, what is that all about? I am only trying to avoid the typical introduction, because it feels so funny to do: "Hello, this is me. I do art."
I guess it's just as simple as that. Or maybe not.
I "do" art sounds a bit abusing, harsh or maybe even violent.
I don't do it, art is part of my life, part of myself as a person. When I create something through my hands and my mind I can submerge into the work completely and forget time. Even though my back, my eyes, my butt and the ankle of my right hand might hurt after hours and hours of drawing, my mind feels relaxed, as if a warm river stream carried me into the land of happiness.
I think most of the creators here feel the same with their work and therefore I can't even imagine something more fulfilling than being able to live through the work you love to do.
But now it is time to really introduce me:
Hello, my dear friend! My name is Polina and I am a creator.
As a student of Anthropolgy and Geography I create "only" as a hobby, but try to do as much as possible. I am 23 years old and live in Cologne, Germany.
I am not able to describe the style of my creations, since I have not found it yet. I love to try different things and get inspired through different things I see everyday, sometimes it is a person I meet or a painting I see on the Internet. At the moment I am into tattoo art, but I am also trying out spraying at the moment and planning on doing a sculpture. Results will be posted soon...
