Yup! Korrasami ruined everything, good thing I drew this in order to drop the whole shipping thing and stick with the story.  

So this is like a parallel to Zuko's Reconcilliation in a way if you look at it panel by panel.

I'm more disappointed in the execution of Korrasami than anything else. It just didn't feel like that's what they were building up to. I mean, I like that the ending is ambiguous enough because I'm not crazy about Korrasami and felt a bit blind sided by it at the end. I mean the creators can say it's canon all they want, but true canon would deem it to be in the show... and arguably the comics. Which, since a comic series is in the works for LOK I'm sure that they will be throwing as much Korrasami into them as they did Kataang in the ATLA comics. That's all good and dandy, but I still fail to see where the foundation for their relationship is >.>

...and I honestly don't understand why everyone is celebrating this. If I was a lesbian or bisexual and this was how I got represented I'd be really upset because it's so 100% unrealistic. It felt like they just threw the korrasami in there at the last moment. Sure, hetero-couples aren't lacking in representation, and I'm not saying they should have taken that direction, but if they wanted to do something organic and profound how about women confident enough in themselves to not need a man?

I am busy, lol, I take 19 credit hours for classes and work 22 hrs a week. Most of my free time is used laying in bed being lazy at the moment XD 

Was there something you needed?

I wasn't impressed and I was pretty disappointed when the creators basically attacked some of their audience for having "viewed the last 2 seasons through a hetero-lens". I rewatched the entire series with those words in my mind, but I still didn't see it at the end. I role play Asami on houtian.b1.jcink.com and I feel like following that particular direction would be very out of character. As an aside, I also role play Iroh II on that site XDD

Su's cruelty to Kuvira at the end after the character made a genuine apology seemed ooc. I mean Su raised her, Kuvira's practically family, and we saw how easily Baatar Jr. was forgiven. Sure, lock Kuvira up or whatever because she needs to atone for her crimes, but the woman needs the compassion. Su's all about compassion, and I don't understand why she didn't afford any to Kuvira.

Varrick and Zhu Li did the thing. That made perfect sense aside from Bolin being the preacher--but I give that a pass because it's Varrick and anything can happen XD

Hiroshi's death felt unnecessary and just made me mad because it's not so much that they killed him off after he reunited with Asami and they forgave one another, it's the fact that the moment lasted about 4 mins if you put all of their on-screen time together. They fixed that relationship in a single day, and didn't give the audience time to grow attached to Hiroshi again or reflect on how this reuniting thing is going to impact the story or the characters. That's what made me mad--initially. THEN. When he died... no one said ANYTHING XDDD Korra was like "Welp! We're in! Who cares that my girlfriend's dad was just BRUTALLY CRUSHED to death!" and the other characters didn't even acknowledge the death, so I'm not sure which is worse >.<

Anything having to do with the iron giant or the death ray or the spirit portals was just bizarre and I wasn't crazy about that.

One thing I actually really loved was Prince Wu and his character development. He was really a major highlight of the 4th season. And in the end I love the Earth Kingdoms too much to let go of the monarchy, but I think he was genuinely concerned and thinking about his people and what would be best for them when he suggested making the provinces into independent states with elected leaders. It was a very mature moment for him and I loved seeing him grow.

And of course the cameo of Tahno on trombone was beautiful. They set him up like he was going to be a recurring character and I'm so disappointed they just dropped him. Same with other characters like Tu or Skoochi or Gommu. I mean Gommu makes a few cameos, but hell Shiro Shinobi shows up more than him XDD And I was hoping to find out what Shady Shin's "hot date" from season 2 looked like lol. 

And of course I think the major hanging questions are: will Korra ever regain the connection to her past lives? Who is this mysterious Kanto that is Lin's father? Who is Su's dad? Izumi's mother? Whatever happened to the Kyoshi Warriors? Is Korra considered the Princess of the Southern Water Tribe? Because if so, someone better tell her dad she's done with boyfriends and his line for the throne just officially ended. >.<

You know I was hoping that Hiroshi Sato would live in the end...You know just have severe injuries from the battle and still be okay....

I was secretly planning to put him in my story arc and let him join my new Team Avatar.  Hint: Sci-fi, Statis cell, Captain America Reference.

Idk, to me I agree with some parts with you! The finale felt "what the...", "really?' and "meh..." to me! Idk, A:TLA had a good and stable ending and on top of that it made sense with a lot of Deus Ex Machinima...LoK on the other hand had some good moments and action, but it everything else was all over the place....Gosh! I mean they really took the Hitler mood on Kuvira that soon? To me Kuvira's character along with Bataar Jr. and Su felt ooc to me.  Wu felt annoying to me, but he was okay.  I thought Ozai was hitler and the whole Fire Nation were Nazis....sigh...Oh well, plus the Korrasami felt also out of place.  Really?

Really? I was hoping for a little rekindling of Mako and Korra, or some development between Iroh II and Asami...leading to your ships

Something like that...

Anyway, I collaborated with someone who would help me with my story arc...Right now I just poured out some good ideas and started naming my books so far.  It's going to be awesome!

Basically someone starts a thread and then characters who are tagged in that thread will post responses. So since I play Asami, for example, I will post Asami's actions and such, then another character will respond with how they react to that, and then together myself and the other players create a story this way. So like here's one called "Hero of the South" which is probably one or two posts away from being finished houtian.b1.jcink.com/index.php… the synopsis is that Bolin just got the part of Nuktak in Varrick's mover and he's making the rounds to all of his friends to let them know the great news, and Asami is next on his list.

It's a lot of fun. I highly recommend it, especially our community. Everyone's super friendly and fun to rp and build stories with X3
