But, can you please explain what the cards are? And what order are your storis in?

The name was Tom...and he shows up again in more stories 
And I'm horrible with names too, seeing as when I write I forget the names of places I've made up
The cards are the Joker Cards, which are what the band ICP centered their music around.
Basically they represent the final judgment, punishment for sins, etc. One of the members of ICP, Violent J, said while he was working on their band he had a dream about a mystical Carnival, and so you have the Six Joker Cards of the Dark Carnival.
And to ramble more, here are the cards in order:
The Carnival of Carnage
The Ringmaster
The Riddle Box
The Great Milenko
The Amazing Jeckel Brothers
The Wraith
Each of them play a different part, and are a different way of representing man's soul.
It's very metaphorical.

It shouldn't matter too much, since they're not connected...although I do connect them in a later story I've been writing, "Called", which has a slightly more complicated plotline.
