yeahhh, i tried drawing a little today to explain a character's face and my hand was like No I Refuse. i at least got something down but it took a bit @_@
i should clarify that i'm not into the genre of "yaoi/yuri" in the anime sense; i very much ship nonstraight ships (probably because i'm very queer myself lol) but i just don't like the culture of the yaoi/yuri genre itself & i don't think it's an accurate label for lgbtq+ ships as a whole :'D

but i appreciate the interests thing! i've found amazing people and lots of creative outlets, proving my abilities to myself, and i'm proud of that & love love love all the characters, stories, and art i've now made ;w;

lol I can finally catch up on my yaoi mangas xD that's the number one best thing right now
I currently work at a Family Dollar store as a cashier but get good enough money for me since I still live with my parents and don't have to support anyone(thankfully) and working is pretty much all I've been doing...I haven't started college yet unfortunately because things have happened making me prolong it...I hope to start this fall semester but feel like everyone's been doing so much more than me y'know? :/ Anyway I'm doing well ^^

Oh yes, manga!!! I'm so behind on my yaoi life! It's taking me forever to catch up to Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi! I miss my late night yaoi nights. That's good to hear, a job is a great way to occupy your time. You're definitely lucky you can live with your parents and work. Oh no worries, college is very time consuming and hectic, it's always best to go when you're ready. How's it like being a cashier at a dollar store? Is it really busy? I doubt it, everyone's got their own problems to deal with. Look at me, I withdrew from college last year, was working at my wretched job for too long, that I finally reached the breaking point and quit. I was in a program that was supposed to get me an apprenticeship for 6 months in my field of study (Graphic Design), but that turned out to be a complete waste of time. It was basically a scam. Nothing happened. I just wasted my time, and ended up having to live on my savings for a while until I got my new job at Old Navy. But even now, I'm still trying to put the pieces back together. It's going to take a while before I can start truly saving up to go back to school. It doesn't help that I'm dying to move out. My family is too overwhelming. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it could be worse. Just keep your head high and just do what makes you happy.


Yeah, it's pretty interesting. This is my first retail job, so I'm still trying to figure things out. The customers can definitely get annoying at times, but right now our store feels like a ghost town, since we opened a new store. I'm barely getting shifts, so it's hard for me financial wise. I just hope they start giving me more shifts soon, 'cause there's a lot of things that I need to buy. Yup, just trying to save up and go back to college. I have two payments left for OSAP, and then I'm finished paying them back! Hmm, it really has been that long then.

Of course!!!! When you left, I kept thinking about how awesome the story and characters are. It's the first vampire yaoi that I've read, and it's really got me wanting more. It's so hard finding good vampire yaoi with a good plot and good characters. It's okay if it takes you a while to really develop the characters and story, the longer you work on it, the better it will become. You should take as long as you need to reach your goal. I've also been taking the time to really develop my characters. I've re-designed a lot of characters over the years, and now I'm finally pleased with the results. This is probably why I have so many sketches to work on. I just need to find the time to work on them all.

lol I know right! I feel like I'd been so behind too! I recently found out that the side story of junjo romantic( the called junjou mistake if you haven't read it featuring Isaka-san and his lover) is still ongoing too!! and I really like yokozawa's story in sekaiichi hatsukoi xD I keep trying to find all the chapters and how they met and everything but it's all bits and pieces and freakin frustrates me! either way I'm trying to read more and have been ordering yaoi books too xD lol my cousin says that I should do more research in drawing yaoi because I never really learned the basics and just went right at it I'd like to learn more about the body positions and couples' bodies too...but I hate waiting and sometimes have no patience to try to go back to learing Dx but I feel like I have to to get better y'know?

I sometimes hate working as a cashier just because I have to deal with so many different people, my mood determines if I'm nice or just be quiet cus I don't feel like dealing with anyone, still it isn't so bad. I get tired a lot because as I cashier I check people out, bag their things, stock the shelves, unload delivery trucks, and even do some of the assistant manager's jobs :/ I don't get time to spend with my family a lot and have had to miss some events...it sucks sometimes but I deal with it because for my first ever real job it's pretty easy and routine-like it could be worse I always tell myself.
Oh wow, that's so cool of you to just go on to pursue something else like that. Sorry that whole program was a scam :/

I'm really happy you're a fan so far I'm trying to not make it too much like vampire knight (I've been criticized before about it being a yaoi knock-off of it) because I feel like that's the road it was on before but just yaoi instead lol I think I'll take my time with that one but definitely know it'll be slightly different than how it was before.
I wish you luck on ur designs too! sketching and development take a lot of time and I know I cringe whenever I see some of my old works because I feel so embarrassed that I drew them, but still I keep them around as inspiration to see how I've improved ^^

lmao I know what you mean, I sometimes have a lot of tabs open too and forget to read one or two or end up losing track of what's happening xD but yeah the mangaka has a lot of works she seems to be doing, I even head a while back they were making an ova of one of her other short stories, I haven't seen anything new but she sure seems busy but I always look forward to anything she puts out

I only order the ones I want, but everytime I buy some at my crappy bookstore I always take forever to read them :/ idk why I just put off reading them still I read whatever I can find online lol
Still I bought this drawing book online on how to draw yaoi and I think I'll try to see where it goes, as for classes I doubt they offer anything like that around here honestly te towns close to me hardly have anything to offer art wise
still now that I have internet I think I'll look for references because that's what my cousin is doing and she's already great

And yeah I know it seems like a lot well I actually helped set up the inside of the store(like the shelves, registers, and all that stocking) and have been there literally since they opened :0 I didn't actually think the job has so many responsibilities but oh well, I eventually got used to it all. Thing is we only have like 5 members, the manager who does a lot of work and I always getting ill or hurt because she does too much, two assistant managers (one got pregnant and now the new girl is still learning but I help as much as I can) and two cashiers, which they're always changing because most of them are moms and have a lot of things to do which I understand. It's just a lot of people who apply don't know what they're getting themselves into
It's true I have to do a lot and work waaaaaaay more hours than a regular cashier but they rely on me a lot because I don't have any obligations like kids or housekeeping like they all do because I'm the only free one I don't mind I mean because I like to be of help. My family complains that they take advantage of me and so do some other people but it's a job y'know? no one said it'd be fair, still the fact that they complain just tell me they worry about me ^^ lol
Oh god I hated working at food places! I used to work at a restaurant back when I was 13 or 14(I helped my mom do the dishwashing)and it was hell Dx all those dirty plates and food in your face...plus I literally was sweaty and wet and that sucked even more, the money was good but man was I so happy to get out of there. working there made want to never work at a fast food place, if customers are bad at stores I can already see how bad they'd be when u got their orders wrong...scary sorry you had to go through that nightmare and that you had to start all over again for your major(?)
I wish you luck again and get to go for something that'll work out for you in the end. Still it's true there are a lot of disappointments but they help you learn right?

lol well sometimes I just think that vampires feel a little outdated to some people yknow? but that's just me, and vampire knight is a good series and if you're ever up to it I'd recommend you to read it. But like I was saying with vampires it's inevitable to have some things be the same, it's just storyline-wise I'm try to avoid. still thanks again for the encouragement

Ahh I see. Ohh that's great, that's a great start. Yeah, you're probably better off just looking at online references and practising with those. Sometimes the books can be a little boring. I think refs are the best way to improve.

Ahh I see, now I can see why a lot of the work load gets dumps on you. Bummer, but it's true, it's a job, what do you expect? I'm sure the work pays off, because with all those hours you're working, you must be getting big paycheques. Cha ching! I guess it's not so bad when you think about how it benefits you. I would love to work my old hours (at least 25-40) a week. I was making mad money and I had no problems paying for bills and buying things I needed and wanted. You worked at a restaurant? Oh wow, you're brave! Lol I couldn't, no way! I was sort of a klutz sometimes while working at McDonald's, so a restaurant would be a death wish for me. I'd probably end up resigning before I got fired. I couldn't deal with the demand and stress, which makes me wonder how the hell I survived at McHell for so long! But you were a dishwasher, so I guess it wasn't as bad as being a waitress. Still, yucky. It must have been horrible feeling all wet and sweaty! Oh yeah, if you thought customers in retail were bad, you should see them at fast food restaurants! They treat the workers like absolute shit! They treat them like they're less than human. It's horrible! Like sometimes I just wanted to tell them off, but unfortunately, I couldn't.

It's okay, life goes on, right? I guess it was a good life lesson, to learn to be disappointed and all. Just sucks when you want something so badly and it never happens. But oh well. Oh no, I still want to be a Graphic Designer, I'm just taking some time off school right now to relax and enjoy life. Just working and focusing on hobbies. I'll go back to school in a year or two.

I get what you mean, they are in a way. Or the problem is, people sometimes make the storylines too cliche or basic, so it doesn't impress people too much. I feel like with vampire stories, it's best to go above and beyond and try to aim for something unexpected. I'm following this vampire series that involves this female half-breed vampire that works alongside her sexy vampire boyfriend to kick ass and slay evil vampires and creatures of the night. It's a dark version of vampires, and really makes vampires look dark and powerful. It's paranormal romance, not mushy love. It's dark and sexy. More stuff like that needs to be created, and less mushy romance. Oh I've heard of Vampire Knight, I've just been too lazy to read and watch it. But I will definitely look into it...one day. yeah work is work, it sux sometimes but it was routine I think it'd be boring, which is what I try to avoid. I know it's comfortable for some but there's times i can't stand it y'know? right now I'm preparing to go to college which i'm still nervous about but hope I can still work because it'd help to pay the fees I'm trying to say but my stupid card company is having issues and my card is on hold at the moment which sucks...Idk i'm trying not to be worried about it right now but hope I can start school as soon as possible, I feel like I'm stuck at a dead end road and don't like that feeling :/ I always liked learning just not all the paperwork lol still I'd like to start my way onto another job because I know for sure I don't wanna get stuck in my little town. In the meantime i wanna try to finish my one-shot manga because I'd like to finish something and them move onto B4B and my other stories.

And eeeeeeeeee...hearing that makes me happy I didn't stay in the food industry, that's horrible you had to go through that at McHell,it never looked liked a place I wanted to work at. Customers are annoying no matter where you are I think, still all jobs acquire you to have some social skills with them and I think it helps to improve your views as well as confidence, because you see they aren't better than you or aren't above you for sure. That's my opinion at least, it helped me outta my shell even if I didn't like it. I know how to deal with people better by working and the money helps with my yaoi addiction lmao xD so basically there's always a bonus for all the crap you endure I think.

You're right, with the vampire genre it's always on how they play it out. Cliche is good but it'll just turn out short and there's not any serious ones which is sad. And ooooh, that series sounds cool :0 vampire knight was romantic but kind of loses that feeling a bit I think as you go in the series, the guys are sexy of course but those kinds of manga aren't supposed to be just eye candy, yaoi is and that's fine with us lmao xD, still because they can't rely on sex scenes they have to focus on the story and that gets pretty difficult after awhile if you can't think of anything original. If a series is able to hook just one person on it i'd say they were successful. Anyway, i just hope that people will like B4B and all it's changes lol still that's a long way off lol vampires are difficult creature sometimes but I think they'll always interest people depending if you do it right y'know? I know whenever I hear 'vampire' I raise and eyebrow and then if 'yaoi' comes next my heart skips a beat and I jump on the train!! xD

and what about you? have you ever decided to post your work on there in the future? 
oh definitely, tumblr has a talent of not holding back x//D although sometimes i have really restrain my emotions cus it gets pretty crazy with some of the things I see

That is true, some just can't handle it. It gets stressful after a while. Ohh, you are? That's great! Yeah, hopefully you can still work while in college, 'cause that would really help. Card company? Yeah, it was definitely hell. I'm glad I quit when I did, I just couldn't take it anymore. It was just awful! I agree with you there. It really does help you develop social skills, and it does help boast your confidence. I met a lot of new people and I learned great skills that I will definitely need in the future. And in a sense, it made me see that I don't have it the worse. I mean, if I thought I had it bad by working there, I could only imagine the hell the managers must be going through! They had to deal with A LOT of pressure, and they had A LOT of responsibilities. And for what? A small paycheque that is nothing compared to what the store owners are making. Ha! It's just crazy! The hours may have been long, but they helped in terms of money. I was able to save up a lot of money and buy lots of awesome things! I really hope I can find a job that gives me good hours, and pays me well so that I can save up a lot of money. That's great, a job that pays well enough to pay for yaoi manga is good enough for me.


Yup, exactly. Hopefully there will be more good vampire shows and books coming out. It is! I just finished a side story a few days ago. It was really good! I can't wait to read the second side story. Ahh I see, yeah it does get difficult after a while. Especially if you can't find of something else besides sex. Oh yaoi, it never fails to amuse me! I like how for once, there's something to appeal to the female audience, instead of the usual sexualization of women to make the males interested. Yaoi is ours for the taking! Plus, it's just plain sexy! I'm sure they will, change is good sometimes, and can add interesting twists! Can't wait to read more!

lately I found a site that has alot of doujinshis which just have all the good stuff you wanna see, which is cool I think about doujinshi's/fanfictions because you already know the story and characters which means you can just enjoy the scenarios
only problem is that I get so into one then have about seven tabs open lmao also it makes me stay up really late even on days I work

Still waiting to sign up on college which I really to get on top on because I've been being lazy....which makes me feel like I'm in a rutt and stuck when all your friends talk about college this and that...Idk I hope I can work something out. And as far as money goes I resolved my problems hopefully and can start saving to go to college and maybe an apartment.
and yeah so many people are so unprepared for college which is how i feel and get so nervous just thinking of everything I have to do...

As for my manga, I'm so close to being done then I gotta get started inking, when all that's done i gotta move on to the page details which my cousin comes in. Nervous though on how it'll look when it's completed with all the shading and designs, cus y'know how some handmade manga looks too bold and overbearing then there some that have practically nothing? I just hope it comes out okay and if i'm able to make it into a self-published book I'd be happy to send you a copy if you'd like? still that's a while away so don't expect anything soon

And yeah I think any manager has it tough because they have to deal with so much crap plus get paid so little for it. They wanted to make me assistant manager but I said 'noooo' cus I've seen already what they've had to do and I sure don't want that full-time responsibilities. And you're so right, any job that gives me enough to buy yaoi is good enough for me xD

You're absolutely right with yaoi being entertaining to us ladies for once instead of seeing things bouncing and getting so boring plus it's cool because not only to women like it but some guys as well! Which is awesome I think lol there's alot of yaoi's out there for everyone's tastes regardless of how weird/kinky/embarrassing it might be xD

Ugh, college, it's such a nightmare! I know that feel. You want to apply, but you're so lazy, or you want to save up money first, or just some issue gets in the way. In good time though, there's no rush. I'm in no rush. I recently got a new job, so when I start working, I want to also start saving up for school and what not.

That sounds great! I know what you mean about over detail. You don't want it to be too detailed, but at the same time you don't want it to be under detailed. But who knows, maybe it will tun out just the way you want it to. Just take it one page at a time. And hell yes, I would love to have a copy of your manga. Definitely sign me up whenever you're ready! Oh, my art is going great. I'm still a lazy artist, but I've got some pictures done. I have two pictures that are about 80% complete, 2 trad pictures that I need to scan and slightly edit, and three pictures are inked. ^^

Exactly! Yaoi appeals to both genders! After browsing many yaoi tags, I found some fan art for one of my fandoms that was drawn by a guy! And I even found this juicy JR picture that was drawn by a guy for his girlfriend. How sweet! Yaoi is so awesome, even the boys like it!

Omg, a juicy vamp yaoi fanfic would be so good right now!!!

I AM SOOO SORRY I took a LONG time to reply, as always busy with everything!! In related news, I FINALLY did sign up for college and I feel a little better now that I started, its not so bad so far and I'm happy for that wasn't as bad as I expected thankfully, now its just balancing work and school work PLUS my artwork which am still doing and then my mom wanted me to try exercising again and I'm just like UGH. I wanna get healthy and maybe lose some weight but I get so tired from everything y'know? But anyway I'm sure I'll find some peace in all the chaos lol As I hope you do as well cus we all have stuff to do
Cus of all that I haven't had as much time to read :/ every now and then I do but end up sleeping late lol but that's my faulty cus I can't pull my eyes away from that juicy stuff xDD
And I hope your work is going okay! I haven't posted anything on here in a long ass time but maybe some previews in the future^^

Ohh my gosh, really? That's great! Good job! What program are you taking? Ohh, I hear ya. It's definitely going to be tricky juggling school, work, and life. But I bet you'll find some peace of mind, eventually. And whatever you do, make sure you play as hard as you work. I found out the hard way what happens if you don't. Blugh, exercise! It's essential and good for your well being, but it is very tiring and hard keeping yourself motivated at times. I was so into my zumba dance sessions at home for a while, but after a while I just lost interest and stopped working out. I want to get back into it, but I too am very busy. I think you should definitely try not to push yourself too much. Exercise at your own pace, and don't push yourself. Even a 15 minute walk every now and then is a good start.

Ohh, I hear ya. I don't remember the last time I picked up one of my books. I have been reading, it just hasn't been books. I've been reading A LOT of TMNT fanfictions lately, 'cause I got back into the TMNT fandom (after all these years!), but I'm behind on my actual novels. Hahah, nice! One cannot simply stop reading the juicy stuff so easily. Oh, don't worry, things are going okay for me. I haven't been able to submit much either, but I'm slowly trying to push a little harder to work on my billions of sketches.

If you don't remember what we were talking about before its okay and my fault for taking so long to answer I'm going for the respiratory care program in college right now, but I have to retake some tests (math being one of them ugh...) before I can get into it, right now i'm just getting my basics
Yeeaah I've tried to exercise as of lately but it feels like there's always too many people around, I just walk around my house but my parents get so paranoid even though I'm not far away :/ then I get lazy from work and just end up snacking -_- its so hard with so much good foods around you!
And you're absolutley right one cannot stop oneself from the juicy stuff I've been re-reading some of my novels and got a gay western novel recently which is pretty juicy xDD and I've been stuck on doujins of my favorite pairings x) like Eren/Levi from the sereies Attack on Titan and recently got addicted to Hetalia which led to more fanfictions and comics lmao xD I get waaaaaay too distracted

I knoooooooow!! Dx Apparently the tv ratings weren't good, it had more of an internet occult following and its true because a lot of fans are crazy about it but mostly watch it online, so therefore it got bumped to a later time and then it ended. It only got 3 seasons and I was heartbroken to hear we weren't getting a 4th :,( :,( :,( and it was getting so good because although the two male characters didn't become an actual couple it was heavily implied they felt more than just friendship for each other. I am in mourning for it

Lmao I loved when they were small xD And it's actually pretty good, I was kinda iffy at first about it but afterwards I really liked it its a sweet show, and they are actual lesbian couples! Which shocked me because its a kid's show on cartoon network but thought was awesome cus we actually got to see some same sex couples

Really? For some reason I can't stand the flashback episodes of them as cubs. They irritate me. I absolutely loved the episode with Chloe and Ice Bear. It was so cute and funny! XD

OMG, REALLY???! That's great! It's pretty hard finding same sex couples in cartoons, but I find that a lot of Canadian cartoons seem to have same sex couples or mentions of same sex relationships. I remember some of the older cartoons that I used to watch from 2000-2008 that are rated G had some kind of mention or hint about gay relationships, and I'm glad. It's nice to see cartoons being realistic and not assume that everyone is straight.
