ARTIST BIOGRAPHY After studying architectural drawing for two years, Maud Besson studied a further three years in art school. She started showing her paintings in France when she left school in 2002. When Maud moved to Canada, Montréal, Québec, in 2007, she continues to show her creations while continuing her exploration of art and discover in Canada an exciting artistic universe. Now living in Kelowna, British Columbia, for almost two years, Maud stay primarily a figurative painter, still involved in constant aesthetic research. By creating her work, she expresses who she really is.* * * *
BIOGRAPHIE D'ARTISTE Après avoir étudié deux ans en dessin d’architecture, Maud Besson étudie 3 ans dans une École d’art. Elle commence à exposer ses peintures en France dès sa sortie d’école en 2002. Déménageant au Canada, à Montréal, Québec, en 2007, elle ne cesse d’exposer ses créations tout en continuant son exploration de l’art et découvre au Canada un univers artistique passionnant. Aujourd’hui installée à Kelowna, Colombie Britannique, depuis bientôt deux ans, Maud reste une artiste peintre essentiellement figuratif. Définitivement instinctive et en constante recherche esthétique, la création est pour elle un pur moyen d’expression.
