I used to have that sort of problem but now I just give myself tasks that I need to complete and the inspiration part takes care of itself.

well i never had a deadline in drawings (well once in a contest i did...but i already finished the drawing weeks beforehand)
and yeah, that McGyver sure has an imagination i mean the dude can make gunz out of a couple of umbrellas and cornflakes (well actually i'm not sure about that, but he really is good at making stuff work with simply nothing
anyway yeah, i'll try to push myself abit ^^
