Hey, what's up? I am new to DA, a Marvel fan and also a comic book artist. But my style looks a bit more like painted comics than the traditional inked/colored comic style (I scan in pencils and color digitally).

So anyway, I was wondering if anyone could direct me to any other comic book related clubs / groups where people might be doing similar work or might be interested in my work.

As far as your style goes; personally I am not a fan of the whole painted look that Gabrielle Del'Otto or Alex Ross bring. But it works for people so I guess I cant complain. You seem to know your trade very well. Good Luck with the graphic novel. Hope you like what you see around the club.

I thought your entry was great man. Cool original design for the xmen movies, and you coloured and drew it all by yourself. Should be proud at the amount of votes you got. Just drew a short straw with the tournament set-up.

well, this is most embarrasing, but my scanner has blown up (well, actually, nothing so dramatic, but it still isn't working), So, I'm either going to have to drop out (*bows head in shame*), or delay the voting process a few days by waiting for a friend to scan it in for me. In any case my apologies to mystique, I was looking forward to thrashing you.

Depends on my friend, I'll most likely get it monday or tuesday, i could submit it then, but it would be colours, and it would probably take me a day or 2 to colour it (I most unfortunately lack photoshop and photopaint, and must use flash). So, thursday would probably be a safe bet.
