In a free-market economy, you might be right. Amazon does not really exist in a free market economy though, it being essentially a monopoly due to its ability to sink any losses including total loss of profit and costs. As a result of its market dominance and essential immunity to downturns, Amazon essentially carries the force of a government or perhaps more when it discriminates.
In case you do not understand why this is a problem, consider what has happened in the past when governments engage in activism. Allow me to provide an example, McCarthyism. For those not familiar, this was a campaign against alleged communists in the US government and other institutions carried out under Senator Joseph McCarthy in the period 1950β54. Many of the accused were blacklisted or lost their jobs, although most did not belong to the Communist Party. Of those accused, many never recovered, and more than a few ended up committing suicide.
The reason McCarthyism died off was that it was the government doing it, and unlike Amazon, the government has to answer to the people. Amazon only answers to Jeff Bezos.

It was a joke, plain and simple, not an attempt at a clever point. It was a joke whose punchline is the way right wingers fawn over capitalism and private corporations being able to do whatever they want- right up till a company does something that hurts their feelings. Mocking that never gets old.
For the record, I more or less agree with you. The many near-monopolies of megacompanies like amazon, or Disney, or what have you, they're probably not good for society. They hinder competition, which is exactly why you need clear government regulations and guidelines and the power to enforce it, or you get this sort of problem.
(I strongly doubt that Amazon is so dominant in publishing that there are no other viable options, though)Β
If Kajm had levied the criticism youΒ brought forth, I wouldn't have made that joke at his expense. I left that comment because he used it as "evidence" of some ridiculousΒ conspiracy theory about persecuting christians. It was a stupid post, and it deserved to be made fun of.
