Well, I obviously don't recognize the musicians-- my taste in music is generally more mainstream than other artists.
The names that make me curious are your favorite artist, who I've never heard of (it's possible I have, and zoned out), and your favorite writers.

oh ok. I see, well Lisa and Damien are irish folk singers. Pretty neat. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, well, he's just damned amazing, he's got an interesting sense of humor, he wrote Love in The Time of Cholera, they made a movie out of that one, you should watch it, you might like it, same with Isabelle Allende. Herman Hesse, he's interesting but some of his books are rather boring, he wrote Siddartha, you might have heard of that one. And Chuck Palahniuk, you must read his stuff, he wrote "Fight Club" and he's just hilarious. Finally, Pablo Neruda writes romantic poetry, I don't know if you're into that. All those authors are latin which is probably why you've never heard of them except for Chuck.

Yes, I cannot read Latin... Or any language, really, except for Americanized English...
Then again, I can comprehend bits and pieces of french; I could probably survive in France for a bit. "Je faim!" heh.
Chuck, fight club, of course. I never read it because I've heard a little too much about it, so I never got around to it?
Mostly, I'm into science fiction before comedy (books, it reverses in other media). Tony Daniel. Stan Lee (Okay, he's comics, but he counts). Whoever the hell writes the Stargate SG-1 episodes.
Yeah, I haven't had much time to read many books lately...

Latin books are not in latin, latin is a dead language, Most Latin authors speak spanish so the books are written in spanish originally but these authors are classic so their books are translated in english. The movie Love in the Time of Cholera is in english.
Well, fight club isn't his only book, I recommend Invisible Monsters as the first Chuck Palahniuk book to read, its pretty interesting.
I like some science fiction, I think the last science fiction book I read was Pillars of Creation, actually I don't even know if that's considered science fiction.

I was assuming that the authors were dead if they wrote in Latin. I know little of the classics. Just because a language is dead doesn't prevent you from (a) learning it or (b) using it.
Hope the translations are good. Horrible situations can arise when translations go awry.
Pillars of Creation sounds familiar... whether as a concept or a title, I'm not sure. But it does sound familiar.

Well I think it's already beautiful how it is. But if you HAD to do something ...maybe lighten it up little bit; the dark on the top is kind is kind of taking over the picture, you know?
