Ah Oh-Ka, I have two questions!
1) Are you by any chance open for character design trades? I'm currently saving up for a new computer (my laptop art wise is on its last legs), and I can't afford to spend money for designs unless it's like... 20$ tops, pretty much a starting bid u_u
I've been dying to get a Krei or Shamurn but I don't have much time to enter the DTA round either (although I can try). I had to ask.
2) Do you have any tips on choosing colour palettes for your adoptables? Or websites such as colour-lovers that you tend to use for inspiration?

At the moment I'm not taking trades, sorry! My life is just... toooo crazy right now with trying to cover bills and catch up on commissions q_q
I do have MYO slots open for Shamurns though (which are 20$ for a common design), as well as #6 here that I would be willing to sell for 20$ oh-ka.deviantart.com/art/Lefto… (prices are in USD btw, not sure if that changes anything!) - just to give you some options in the meantime! I also sometimes throw out "baby" Krei designs which go for cheaper.
As for colours, I usually design in monochrome first and then adjust until I'm happy! I will sometimes go to Colourlovers or Design-Seeds for inspiration, but that's becoming less and less these days. Another trick I use is bringing the design into photoshop and using the gradient map tool and playing with that until I'm happy! (You will usually have to re-fill the colours in yourself though b/c it's kinda janky - it's located under window > adjustments)

Yup! I had a friend who.. used to be?? Not totally sure if they are anymore BUT
it makes me nauseous/gives me an itchy throat/mouth q_q I used to eat them like crazy up until I was 11 or so tho! (I can eat them as long as they're cooked into the food too, so I'm assuming it's some kind of enzyme)
