well like there are many types of apartment, like I found one that says 1 bedroom basement apartment rent , and there is this house-like, what does basement apartment is? @@ god am so clueless... ORZ

in case you don't know what a basement is, it's a room underneath a house. it's underground, and many basements have bathrooms, laundry rooms, etc in them. it's basically a small living space under a house, so a basement apartment means you'd be renting that space. not sure that would be such a good thing, especially if you plan to have your family move in with you later o.o
