# About me
I've been freehand glass etching with a dremel for over 17 years. All of the designs you see are either drawn on start to finish with the dremel itself, or on occasion with the larger pieces I'll sketch something on with a sharpie first. No chemicals, sand, or templates are ever used. I let the glass dictate to me who lives there and where they wanna be.I love the idea of recycling old glass. Glass blowing was one of the first major advances in civilization, and continues to prove its worth as a renewable resource every day. I've been pulling bottles out of the earth from old fire pits and buried off hiking trails for most of my life.
Glass is a gift to the world that I will treasure always. In all its various uses, forms, and color.
With my pyrography, I like to burn the images on and shade them first. Then I wash over everything with water colors, or any diluted acrylic based paint. I can get lost staring into the grain of wood for hours. I always enjoyed the images I saw there. This is my way of sharing some of those images with you. The best part, it creates a kind of communication between myself and the element of wood, and when I do it right, the wood does all the work.

Pottery? If you mean the glass, no I don't blow the glass myself though I'd love to. I collect them everywhere I go and etch on them freehand with a dremel to get the designs I have. Thanks for the kudos
