No problem... Well my username... I didn't know what to place... but earlier in the week my niece was like bragging "my hotdog is bigger than yours to my other niece." and her hotdog fell on the ground... and my other niece gave her half of her hotdog.

Yeah... but I'm gonna change my username... I realized that it sounds a bit dirty and quite a turn off. It projects a bad image that my hotdog is bigger. lol

Sorry for the late response... Yes... I like your work... it has nice landscapes and compositions... *What is your favorite brush for landscapes? and your favorite brush for water?
My Intuos5 is pretty cool. It almost eliminates my keyboard and it definitely eliminated the use of my mouse as it is a giant mouse too. I'm still getting used to the pen, but overall it is a fantastic tool, a good investment.... but the back draw is the hefty price. It put a hole on my pocket.

I wouldn't say I use custom brushes really, I like this little round one. I use it the most .
Good to hear your enjoying the Intuos! It'll be worth it so long as you look after it!

MYHOTDOGISBIGGER In reply to Holly-Mellor [2012-08-10 02:28:02 +0000 UTC]
Which little round brush?
Thanks. I actually bought a pad protector for it. It's like a screen protector but made for pen tablets. Wacom treats the Intuos5 differently when it comes to a damaged tablet surface... they want the owner to ship it back to them because of the touch function... their techs have to be the ones to fix it... "unlike" the previous ones where you can "do it yourself"
Do you know how to paint horses?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Holly-Mellor In reply to MYHOTDOGISBIGGER [2012-08-10 07:19:51 +0000 UTC]
Oh right, I might look into getting a pad protector myself. That's good about shipping it back, bit of warranty behind it .
As for the brushes, just the top ones that are default. I also use one of 11px and it's a little less hard. I think that may be a default I'm not sure I can't remember. The brushes aren't important though really, they come afterwards once you master the disciplines.
Horses are difficult to draw, I could using references but not without.

MYHOTDOGISBIGGER In reply to Holly-Mellor [2012-08-10 07:53:21 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, true, horses and animals are hard to paint. It takes me awhile to just draw one horse. Usually, I pre-draw animals and use the same animal paintings that I did within "different" paintings. I'm going to a horse ranch to take a lot of stock pictures for reference. Horses make warrior scenes "epic" -- I'm a novice... so I'm studying the basics... like painting water. Have a good day. Post more paintings.
