Haha no, unfortunately I wasn't kidnapped, though I'd love to be part of a man-harem. If there are women out there who like harems of pot-bellied-bearded dudes. I'll have to add that to my resume. ...and nobody probes me. I like to do the probing haha.
I've dated here and there. Met a few women that liked me, but none of them were what I was looking for. I've kind of stopped paying attention far as that goes. Dating is a pain. My oldest son is driving now, and my youngest is in a metal band. Got a new/old car that I love. It's an '03 Monte Carlo SS. I'm still a night owl and a hermit. I've been writing less and trying my hand at traditional art. Been painting, drawing, etc. Posted some of it to Instagram. My id's mattmd80 if you want to see it. When it's not arctic outside (like it is now), I mountain bike and hike.
Still feel like hell on the inside, but still breathing on the outside.

RAWR. Lol. I am also workin' hard, but on different stuff. I'm working on a piece that I finally had to beg Jess to help me with 'cause my brain is mush. And I have a bunch of projects in the works as far as sewing goes. And other than that, I'm still the same old C. LOL. Don't work too hard on the sculpture. Take a break to eat and drink. That's an order from me.

Life is good. I'm back in Helsinki for a very short time and then back to the US. I had to come home to check on some things and organize a few others. So very busy. Ha, ha.

It can be. It's hard not to be...not depressed I guess but to feel kinda lost when you move from place to place to place a lot. And he has said more than once that while he loves the fans, they all start to look and sound alike at some point. He said once that he thought he was hallucinating the same girl night after night in the crowd, so he had her brought backstage only to find that she had bought tickets for like, a dozen shows. LOL.

I can see how he would feel that way. It can be difficult to accept that kind of praise (from fans). It's hard to know how to react.

He always says he's just a guy. But you know, I kind of understand the fans. They really just love him and want him to know it. But he is just a guy, so I can imagine that it's awkward for him. I don't see him as just a guy, but I treat him like just a normal man. I always have, and that was apparently the attraction. But since the first night, I've been in awe of that voice and so...I do understand the fans.
