QuillDog MYO Deity Contest Winner!Okay this was... HARD. To say the least.
I mean, really, really hard. I often get Notes from folks asking about MYO contests, and I've always turned them down.. and this is why. Because I knew there were gonna be so many awesome designs that blew me away! <3 I've been mulling over them all this week, and I finally had it narrowed down to three entries today.
I've been reading and re-reading the rules upon which I set myself to judge: creativity, uniqueness and ideas.
I did NOT judge upon ability, complexity, background (or lack thereof), if they drew their own or not, etc.
What I was looking for was a thought process.. the quality result of time taken to tune each aspect of the design into something cohesive, united, unique and beautiful. And so many of these designs met this goal in their own unique ways, which made it near impossible to choose!
But there was one I kept coming back to.. who, I will proudly name the winner of this contest...
