Don't. I don't like you. I like your work, but don't thank me. We had a heated discussion some year ago. You called me names. I should forgive, but I'm not that good a Christian yet. I do not forgive you.
But now that you have thanked me, I suppose you're welcome. It IS quite the piece of work, in a good way. It is very, very true.
Don't let it go to your head.

You can not like me all you want. I don't expect you to like me. I remember well the discussion we had, which you started off by telling me I was saying something "ignorant so close to lying that it's sad".
I don't know of anyone who would say that's a good foot to start off on, however valid of an opinion it may be.
By the record dA is showing me, which I do not trust as complete (posts often disappear in between comment pages for some reason), I see you basically attacking me and all Americans, and myself defending my point of view.
I don't see any record of me calling you names, but if I did I sincerely apologize for it. I do lose myself sometimes, and it is silly to attack a person directly. Again, however, I must say dA is currently showing no record of me having attacked you:

Go to the fifth page to see dA's record of our conversation.
Having said all of the above, you favorited my deviation. I thank you for that, so I wanted to make it known to you, even though we exchanged words some time ago.
I accept your welcome, as well.
But telling me that I shouldn't "let it go to my head" is absurd. I've made it known that I don't think "War" is any good, though other people seem to think otherwise (I honestly think that it's merely the simplicity of the keyword that draws attention to it, no one looks up "Lynx Battle Carbine" on dA) as it took me all of about 5 minutes to make.
I am proud of some things. But my art rarely qualifies.
I appreciate that you like my work. I also think that it's you who can't let go of our simple discussion from the past. I don't know why, because neither was I offended by what you said, nor can I find anything offensive that I said. If you could find something for me, I would like to see it so that I may apologize for it directly.
Take care of yourself. And thanks again.

Wow, you have a tendency for long answers, don't you? Sadly, I don't have the stamina to answer such posts with relative speed. But, ah well, here goes.
Firstly I didn't call YOU "ignorant" and "close to lying" but one of the viewpoints you stand for. There is a subtle but important difference there. I did never attack you personally, but your viewpoints. I felt that that conversation went smoothly until your last post were, from my viewpoint, you suddenly freaked out and began calling me an "asshole".
I felt it best to not reply to that post. It would've been the beginning of a flamewar as I am prideful, sadly. It's a part of my upbringing, as I belong to the Old World, to the Family and to Europe. We have reason to be proud, I am sadly bad at toning that down. And for that I apologize.
And I accept your apology. Holding grudges is not a good way to deal with problems.
Ah, that was more of a way of ensuring I didn't back down completely. As earlier noted, I am proud, a son of a great line, I want to protect my pride.
And it is not the keyword that makes it popular. The message is very true, and something you don't think about. But when you here it you think "yeah... that's very true!". THAT is why it is so popular.
I have noticed you aren't proud of this. A shame, as this is much better than the guns you idealize. To me, they are murderers and helps murderers.
"You have just generalized the entire American populace. Thank you, asshole." is the direct quote, copied and pasted. But this has been apologized for, I do not hold grudge.
And, just to make things clear, I still take my same view-point and I suppose you do the same. Let's not continue that discussion, as we will not be able to make each other more enlightened. I will still believa all people are good at heart and you will still thing we need guns for protction. I think this standstill will not be breached.
You are welcome. Lev vΓ€l.

I don't intend to continue the discussion. I appreciate that you showed me what it was you were talking about in that thread, because it definitely isn't showing up on my end.
I seem to recall it, however.
Thanks for the response.

Good. We seem to be on the same wavelength, surprisingly.
